I'll start.

1) How long have you been TTC?
Unofficially, July 2004. We started pre-natals while on vacation in upper Michigan. We knew it might take a few months, but we never saw 3 years of trying ahead!

2) What kind of work do you do?
I am in Advertising (mostly sales promotion, like the stuff you see in retailers). I work on a team of 25 to handle a national account.

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey?
Well, it has taught me a lot about patience, who not to blame and to accept God's plan.

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend?
I love working on my house (50 years old) and spend time with my two Jack Russells.

I like going home to see family and listening to music. but, most of all NOT WORKING!

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you?
I just colored my hair back to brown and my Mom wanted me to go to "voice" school at Disney to do cartoon voices.

6) What goals do you have for 2007?
To lose my 20lbs and keep them off for good! Oh, and get PG!

1) How long have you been TTC? #2 for 12 months

2) What kind of work do you do? I am an L.P.N. and recently changed jobs to a part-time lab position in a family practice clinic.

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey? I think I expected to get pg with #2 right away, like I did with #1, and ttc for the past 12 mos has taught me not to take anything for granted. Im more grateful for what I have, especially dd. Shes the best thing thats ever happened to me!!!!

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend? I like to relax, I also enjoy cooking and gardening and spending time with dh,dd and the rest of my family.

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you? I'm originally from northeast CO and I love the Denver Broncos (its role reversal in my family because dh could care less about football). My extended family, spread over 3 states, are all die hard Broncos fans too and we play very serious fantasy football which I can proudly say I won this year, about $500.

6) What goals do you have for 2007? I first and foremost would like to have another baby, and I am planning on getting in better shape.

1) How long have you been TTC? This is our first cycle TTC #2...just had my first ppaf

2) What kind of work do you do? Teach Grade 12 History, World Issues and Law

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey? It hasn't so far...although I have all sorts of fears that TTC #2 will not be as easy as #1....

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend? Read, spend time with friends, go to the beach and boat in the summer

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you? If I had the time and money I would open either a wedding decorating business (I do it for free for my friends) or a maternity/baby clothing store!

6) What goals do you have for 2007? To pay off as much debt as possible (so we can build a house in 2008!) and to have baby #2, of course

Here is mine.

1) How long have you been TTC?
Too long since 2003 with no success at all.

2) What kind of work do you do?

I work at a state university as Coordinator of New Student Orientation, hopefully I will be Director one day when some of these old heads who have been here over 30yrs finally retire.

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey?

I never thought it would take this long to get pg, I just have to be patient that my time will come, I am glad that I am now seeing an RE and that I had surgery to remove polyps/endo which I think was the problem in the first place.

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend?

I like to spend time with DH by going to a movie, out to dinner and getting together on the second saturday of each month with my social group.

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you?

I was a gymnast when I was young, and I went to the Jr. Olympics in 1984 when I was 12, of course I was like the only black girl there, I was the first black in the state of TN to go the Jr. Olympics in gymnastics. I was interviewed in the paper and on local TV, it was so cool. It was a sport that I loved so much, but when I started high school I was just tired of it and I quit, if I have a daughter I would love for her to take it, but I will not pressure her.

6) What goals do you have for 2007?

TO HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) How long have you been TTC? TTC #2 for 2 cycles now. I mc twins at 12 weeks in september and had to wait out 3 cycles though - so I feel like we've been trying for more like 8 months...

2) What kind of work do you do? I'm an attorney - I represent kids in abuse and neglect cases, I have a little home office and I only work about 10 hours a week now so mostly I work as a mom.

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey? I haven't experienced infertility, but the women on this board who have been on such long journeys amaze me. Our loss certainly made me all the more aware of what miracles all pregnancies and children are.

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend? In the summer I love to head to the mountains for hikes or go to the zoo. This winter has been so cold and snowy that our weekends have been spent at home - at least we're getting caught up on a few projects! I aslo love to sleep in and read when DH can get up with DD!

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you? I failed out of college, it must be in my genes to be a total slacker at about 19-20 though, my brother also failed out of college and is now in medical school. We both gave my parents plenty to stress about!

6) What goals do you have for 2007? To get pregnant and to find a good babysitter besides my mom so DH and I can go out and see a movie or 2 before another baby comes!

1) How long have you been TTC? Almost 4 years now...

2) What kind of work do you do? I'm a web designer/ techie type person

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey? Life has lessons to teach us whether we want them or not. You just have to keep an open mind. (Yeah... easier said than done...)

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend? We try and go hiking sometimes... Mostly it's catching up on sleep.

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you? I've been studying traditional Korean martial arts for four years now. I'm testing for my blue belt soon. I help teach the kids three times a week, and it's fun! (But often difficult to work with kids when I want one so badly!!!)

6) What goals do you have for 2007? To have a successful PG this time!!!

1) How long have you been TTC? we have been TTC off and on for 6 1/2 years!

2) What kind of work do you do? I stay at home now, but worked as an administrative assistant and an office manager.

3) How has infertility affected you and what have you learned from your journey? I've learned to have patience and it has made me stronger.

4) What are some of your favorite things to do on the weekend? Hike (in the summer..) read, look at houses

visit family.

5) What's a (non-TTC) fun-fact about you? I love to gamble and I also love to sing.

6) What goals do you have for 2007? To buy a house, get pregnant (or start the adoption process) and to have FUN!!!
