Default Back from IUI!!!!!

...I'm back from a normal IUI! I'm so excited to don't know what to think! The surgery worked!

DH had great swimmers, too! The new doc I have is just as great as the old one! The catheter pretty much went through my cervix with no problem...he did have to pull on it just ever so slightly but no need for the torchure instruments! No pain and just a little cramping afterwards.

I talked to him about taking progesterone and he said he was thinking the same thing. My progesterone levels were low when I got pg the last time and he said most people don't need the progesterone but it isn't going to hurt anything other than probably extending my cycle a few days! (I'm the girl today!).

I'm just so excited about this cycle!

girls for all your support!

Ok, Janay...you're next! I hope today's transfer goes well and I'm thinking tons of for you!

Teece...oops I guess I left out the part about being on progesterone. Yes, he is putting me on 200mg of Prometrium, I belive (I had a hard time reading his writing! ). DH will pick it up later this evening when he takes Isaiah to his soccer practice (I'm laying flat in bed until tomorrow morning... this will work!). I'm suppose to take the progesterone at night because it can cause dizziness/faintness until my body adjusts. If I take it and have s/e's that I can't stand then I have to call back for the suppositories (yuck!).

I'm just about this cycle...and so hoping it works!

YAY Kelli!!! I'm so glad the IUI went great!! I did the vaginal progesterone with my 3 injectible/IUIs. It is messy so maybe the oral will work for you. Will they give you a prog. test and a beta test since you are on prog. support? I am so happy that the surgery worked!!! I'm keeping everything crossed that we see some BFPs on this board in the next 2 weeks!!!

Kelly...He gave me the option to do a cd21 progesterone test but we discussed that it probably would be high d/t the progesterone so my levels might be a little off. I decided against the test this time. I think getting the test would only make me more by trying to read more into the results. (who knows...I may end up calling and requesting one after all ) As far as the beta, I'm to POAS in 2 weeks and if negative, I'll wait a few more days and then call in for a beta. I think he's really hoping this one does the trick, though!
