Hi everyone, I am on DH laptop in the hospital room. Well my little man arrived on October 11 at 1:00 p.m. via c-section weighing at a whopping 9lbs 1 oz. We got ourselves a football player, but he is the sweetest ever, and I am so in love with him.

The c-section went well, it was so quick, I am recovering well on this 2nd day, but of course very sore, but the pain medicine is really helping.

Me and DH just can't believe that we are finally parents, I am having a hard time with the breastfeeding, he doesn't seem to want to latch, anyway my milk has not come in yet, but he has swallowed a lot of colostrum and we gave him some enfamil, until my milk comes in hopefully by Sunday it will come in when we are at home and I can start pumping, I have really flat nipples so that is the problem with it, but I am still going to try it some.

I will post pics when we get home, take care everyone, I am over the moon with excitement.

Angie congrats! With dd #1, I had problems getting her to latch on and went to a lactation consultant. I had flat nipples too and she suggested nipple shields which helped immensely. After using them for a short while we were able to go without them. Medela makes some and our hospital sold them in their little breastfeeding supply shop.
