Maggie...I know what you are feeling like! My incision got infected, too (mine was most likely d/t the infection that I had in my uterus when I delivered Owen and the fact that I did not rest at all after the surgery. The constant walking around and sitting all day at Children's NICU didn't help either). Mine ended up getting really red, hot to the touch, sore, and I ended up having pus coming out of it! Hurt like *ell when they went to take the staples out. I think they put me on Cephelexin (sp?) and I'm lucky that it got a lot better in a few days. I hope you don't have to have anything drained! That sounds painful! Did they tell you to put a pantiliner in the front of your underwear were the incision is. It will help it to stay more dry and catch any drainage. KUP! Rest up as much as you can!

Teece...! It sounds like you are at peace with things and I'm glad you are feeling like yourself again. Don't be a stranger around here! We love hearing updates! How are your puppies?

Janay...can't wait for March! And don't be a stranger around here, either!

Hi everyone. It's nice to hear updates from everyone. Things are going good here. Raegan is almost 4 months old. She is a wonderful baby! I had a really hard time going back to work after my maternity leave, so I decided to start a medical transcription program with the hope that I can eventually work from home. The program takes anywhere from 12 to 24 months, so it should be interesting trying to do that with 2 little ones.
Janay, I want to wish you all the luck in the world for your IVF this spring- I know you have waited soooo long for a baby. I will be cheering for you all the way!!
Mely- its always nice to hear whats going on with you. I hope the adoption process goes very quickly for you!
Maggie, congrats on your baby! Im sorry you are having some complications. I hope you get to feeling better very soon.
Teece- nice to hear an update from you. I am glad you are feeling more like yourself and whatever path you and your dh follow I wish you all of the luck in the world.
Huntersmom (Ranee)- good luck with ttc. I was in similar situation when ttc dd #2. It took over a year and there didnt seem to be any explanation for it. Good luck, I hope you get a BFP real soon.
Cindy- good luck with your upcoming IVF. Very exciting- I hope it all goes great for you.
Jenn- I cant imagine how busy you are with ALL of those kiddos. You are truly a supermom.
Nancy, Kelli- hope everythings going well with your little ones.

Here is a recent pic of my little one- she has red hair and I dont know where it came from LOL. I dont know how to use the red eye reduction for this pic, I usually have dh do that kind of stuff and hes not here right now.

I will update after my OB appt in the morning. SO far everything is healing, meaning the antibiotic is working like it should. The sores the infection caused will take more time to heal, but overall no more new ones I can see (thank goodness!).

I better go rest, I have been so busy with dr's appts and then the dentist today. BUT the best news......I am down a total of 12 lbs! I only gained 8 with Natalie, so I have lost 4 more! WOHOO!!!!!!

Hey there everyone. I posted my update on a separate thread -->> My update - long overdue (x-post)

Kelli, l agree with everyone else. Thanks for getting this going again.
Maggie, congrats on your latest bundle of joy. I see in your last pregnancy photos you're wearing earrings. It made me smile cause I did the same thing in the hospital. I wanted to look cute in my last photos (smile).
Jenn, I agree. You are Super Mom. Let me know the secrets cause, with my two, there aren't enough hours in the day to do it all.
Mely, good luck with your adoption.
Teece, glad that you are in a peaceful place with your decision. You know they (whoever they is) say that the things you want in life sometimes happens when you least expect it. You know like looking for a good man. Why is it that we tend to find them when we are looking our worst, no makeup, hair a mess etc. But when we are on the prowl, wearing the sexiest outfits in the world, all we get are the rejects. I don't mean to compare TTC to finding a man, but I wanted to make an analogy that I am sure we have all experienced. The best to you with whatever you decide.
Janay, I'll be here to chair you on for the March IVF. Good luck with the job hunt.
Ranee, and good luck
Angie, good looking family!
Cindy,
Renae, your kids are gorgeous
to anyone that I missed

Have a great weekend all.

Hospital Site Name

Well I just have a Staph infection and to finish the keflex. My c-section incision is healing very good, and everything I am feeling is my body trying to recover from the surgery. All the nether regions was just the fluids/swelling from surgery and all normal to have at this point 10 days post-op.
My tubes were cut and not just tied off. The swelling in my feet should have gone away by now, I am now on Lasix for a week to help get rid of the excess fluids. I can start driving again starting next week, but not over do it. I don't have to go back for my 4 wk check-up, we will count today's visit as the post-op. I just call if I need anything or have any more problems or questions.
I am back to waring my pre-preggy jeans and normal tops (even borrowed DH's shirt the other day and it is big on me now, it used to be just perfect and I have tummy room to spare!!!)! I am down a total of 12 lbs so far! The nursing and pumping is already paying off!
I am so ready to have a girls night and wow my guy friends!
I am starting to feel like a normal person again and ready to get back to my normal cleaning/"wifey" duties.

Thought I'd say hi, too! I'm on a break due to cysts until the end of the month . . . hopefully I can resume ttc next month.

Baby update:Miss Natalie has gained 11 ounces and grown 1 inch since she was brought home from the hospital. WOHOO!!! Mommy's milk and supplementing is working wonders! Her head size is now 14 up from 13 1/2 inches. She is doing perfect, and is growing strong in her neck and arms. She was trying to hold her head up and push up while on her tummy during the exam.
She goes back in 6 wks for 5 shots and check-up.
