Well, I will have to have a c-section, I had an u/s and the baby is really big, he may weigh about 8-9 pounds, so my doc is suggesting a c-section, so it will be next Wednesday Oct. 10 at 12:30 p.m.
He has not even dropped any since last weeks appointment, she thinks if I have a vaginal birth he might get stuck going through my pelvic area because of his size. I really was not looking forward to a c-section, but what can I do about it, so please everyone send out some my way for a healthy delivery. I know I am going to be a nervous wreck.

Congratulations Angie! I can't wait to see pics of your little guy. Don't worry about the c-section - just take all of your meds when you are supposed to and you will do fine. I had a c-section and was up and about the very next day. I wasn't ready to run a marathon or anything, but considering that I had just given birth, I felt pretty ok. Just remember that your doctor is recommending it because he feels that it is the safest choice for you and your baby.

After struggling with miscarriages and infertility for two and a half years, we were finally able to get pregnant with IVF, and Henry John was born on August 14, 2006.
We are pregnant with # 2 and it's a girl! EDD October 12, 2008.
Like Julie said, don't stress too much over the C-section. After having gone thru some labor pains, I think I'd much rather prefer it than a vaginal birth.
Good luck! I didn't have any problems with my c/s. I was up and about the next day and my c/s was at 8 p.m. I did take my pain meds though.
It's nice to have a day in sight!

I just got a call from my doc's office and my c-section has been moved to Oct. 11 instead of 10th, so that gives me one more day to get things together.

I thought about you this morning and based on my predictions you should be about having the surgery done now. I hope all went well and you will be up and about tommorrow ready to deal with Miles. All the best!
