Hi, I'm Kate, 25, trying to get pregnant. I am about to start my first cycle of Provera, then Clomid, and I have some questions.
I'm curious about the Provera, first off. Does your period begin the first day you take the medication, or does it typically take longer? I have a ten day supply so I assume not, I was just curious about people's experiences with it. How have you reacted to it? I'm taking Metformin with the Provera, anyone taken that?
Now Clomid. I've read about the side effects, I was wondering has anyone experienced them and if so, in what ways? What are your personal experiences with it? Did you get pregnant on the first try, or did it take several months?
Any information would be so very welcome, I am so excited to be at this point.
I always took 5 days of Prover and would show about 3-5 days after that for me. I didn't have any side effects on Clomid (and I took the whole gamet of doses from 50mg to 200mg). But some women to report pretty bad side effects from it. Someone else will have to shed some light on that for you. I took 7 cycle of Clomid to conceive my son I think. I didn't ovulate on clomid until 200mg. Good luck to you!!!!
I am taking clomid and the first month I didn't hve any s/e but this month i have had some hormone headaches and stomach pain. Nothing I cant handle though. It is different with each person I think. Good luck to you.
