Casey Here, Just wanted to find out what you guys think about my situation and what I should do.
Okay So here I go,
After my pd ending on the 7th of September, DF and I start our TTC part 47,005,705,333,211 lol. Anywho, that was for a weekend, starting on saturday and ending sunday, sounds really long but hah it wasnt all through the days. So after we TTC baby#2 I didnt have my BC pills for two days, therefore missing the first 2 pills in the pack.. Yes, Im still on BC even while TTC. After, I recieved my new pack of BC I DID NOT take the first 2 pills, I just skipped them and went on with the other pills...After that I started getting to nauseas that sometimes I would shake, and dizzy with tiny cramps, that happened for about a week and a half after wards, stopping on tuesday...Last Night (wednesday) I went to take my BC pill and after I did I felt Verrrrrry sick after it.. Can anyone help me out? My sister In law, tells me Im pregnant.. Someone help me!! thank you!
So you are taking BC pills and trying to get pregnant? I don't know how that works, but it definitely sounds like something is up. You should be carefull taking the pills if you are ttc. Especially with those symptoms, maybe you should stop for the rest of the month and test...if you are pg you shouldn't get your period...just a thought. Good luck and let us know what you find out!
I'm a little confused, why are you taking BCP if you are TTC?
With the symptoms your describing, I'd take a home pregnancy test, if it's negative sched a dr's appointment ASAP. You may be having an allergic reaction to the medicine or you may have gotten a bad batch of medicine.

OKay, see the deal with the BC and TTc concieve thing is one of us is TTC and one of us isnt.. Im sure you can guess which one is which.. SO Ladies, does this sound like something that may happen with pregnancy while on the pill??
BCP have hormones in them that trick your body into believing that it's already pg so you don't ovulate. This is how BCP work. If you're randomly skipping pills you're messing with the hormone levels in your body and it can make you feel sick. It usually also takes approximately 3 months of being off the pill to get your body working normally again. This is why if you went to your doctor they'd probably suggest getting off the pill for a min. of 3 months before actively TTC. Mine suggested this and using a backup method to prevent a pregnancy before that 3 month period was up. It's in the best interest of the child-to-be.
On another note, it's concerning that one of you is interested in bringing a child into the relationship while the other one isn't. This could have a very disasterous ending. I'd rethink the whole TTC until you're both on the same page. It's not fair to your partner or to the child.
Not such a concern that one of you wants to ttc and the other doesn't- as communicating with each other should be able to bring you guys to some sort of an agreement about when and how to go about actually ttc your children together.
The concern begins when one of you thinks you guys are ttc while the other one is taking measures to prevent pregnancy. Crissy-Lyn has excellent info about why you are probably feeling these symptoms though a talk with your doctor isn't a bad idea. A talk with your DF isn't a bad idea either...if you are not on board with having a baby right now then he should know about, and hopefully support, how you feel about the situation.

Yeah, I am not sure why you are TTC and on BC even if you are trying to trick your DF into having a baby. And baby #2? Is that right? IMO, that is no way to go about it, putting your unborn child into harm and possibly causing a miscarrage if you were to get pregnant while taking those BC pills sporatically.
If I were you I would quit taking the pills, wait until you are supposed to get your period and if you dont then test. If you don't get your period I would start taking the pill all the time like you should and then talk to your DF about having another baby. And come to a decision together...tricking him is not the way to go. If for some reason you are pregnant then you need to see a doctor and tell them you have been on the pill.
Good Luck. I hope you make the right decision.
Wow. I would have to agree with all of the ladies. We all know the feeling of wanting a baby so badly but miracle and joy of that miracle is certainly compromised when your partner is basically being lied to. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh but it is very unfair to him. And as the other girls have said...extremely dangerous for the baby.
Your hormones need to be in pretty much perfect balance to sustain a healthy pregnancy and periodically taking BCP certainly causes your hormones to be everything but in balance.
Also...bcp work in two ways. As said before, they cause your body not to ovulate. But also, in the very unlikely event that you do ovulate and the egg is fertilized the BCP thin to uterine lining so that the fertilized egg cannot implant.
This is a very risky situation for you, DP, and certainly any pregancy that you may conceive.
I really do wish you the best of luck. I agree with Lindsay completely. First stop the BCP, if your period doesn't come take a test. I suspect it will be neg. If it is you should get back on the pill and take it properly. Talk to DP and express your desires. And certainly if you are preg. tell your doctor about taking the pill.
Good Luck to you.

Hey everyone! Thank you all for you concerns. If you havent heard already from the other board, I recieved my blood test results today and they were Neg., therefore, this happened for a reason and Id like to think that the lord did it because I am still on BCP. However, I want to tell all of you ladies that I totally appreciate all of your in-puts to my situation. I did have a serious conversation with my DF and things are looking up. We plan to move in together at the beginning of the new year and we will go from there. After reading all of your information that you all have provided about the BCP and PREGNANCY, I would strongly like to thank you again for letting me know what that could do to my child. I am so not in the loop when it comes to that, but with what I know now, when DF and I start to TTC #2 ( when both of us want to ).. I will be off of my BCP wayyyyy before then. Once again thank you to all of you. Good Luck with everything, for those TTC ***BABY DUST***...I love you all much!
I know that part of you is disappointed. But this was the best result you could have gotten.
Please take some serious time to evaluate your situation.
It kind of sounds like it might be a good idea to put lots of energy into building a good strong bond and commitment with your DF.
When is the wedding? I'd say, put your energy into that.
I know it doesn't make you want a baby any less but take comfort in the fact that you are very young and have time to get some other things in order first.
Best of luck to you.
