Default Newbie w/ a Chart ?

Hey ladies!!

I've got a question. I am using mycyle.com and cyclespage.com to track my AF each month. I have entered the same data into both websites but they are coming back with different days for ovulation as well as when AF should be here. Do you all have any suggestions?? Which should I go by??

I'm sorry but I have no clue, I've never used either of those sites. Are you temping or just tracking af?

Just AF, I just got off BCP at the beginning of March and don't want to get too carried away just yet. LOL

I kind of am just waiting to see what happens but wanted to have an idea when I ovulated. I have never tracked this before and some people can feel when they ovulate but I am not one of them.

Both of my sisters told me that once they wanted kids they found out they pretty much got pregnant like 2 weeks later. Must be nice, I think it is going to take me a lil longer.

So my period is expected to be here either Saturday on one chart or Wednesday on the other chart. Was trying to see if I could get a better idea.

Honestly, the only real way to know when you ovulate is to keep track of your temps. Charting when AF shows up can be helpful, but to know when you ovulate would assume that your cycles are completely regular, which isn't always true. Keeping track of your temps would show you exactly when you ovulate because your temperature goes up and stays up for the second half of your cycle before AF comes.

you can also use OPK's to help or a fertility monitor. You can track cm, but it's not always so accurate. As to your question why certain sites are different, I'm not quite sure. It's hard to say esp coming off bcp's when you will Ovulate. I would start taking your temp or using OPKs. Good luck.

Thanks for the replies. I don't know if I will start doing the temp thing right now but maybe the OPK's if I don't get a BFP in the next couple months.
