Ok I need some thoughts on what could be going on here. This is going to be long just because I need to get all the history out here.

Ok here we go! I went off Nuvaring back in August. I've done this before and my body has gone right back to normal before. Started my period like normal after going off Nuvaring. September we had a slip up and thought I was pregnant. Got my period right on track, although it was very heavy, lots of cramps etc. Really different than my normal periods. Thought maybe I had a miscarriage because it was so heavy and I was in a lot of pain. So on CD 9 this month we dtd. Now on CD 12 I had pinkish/red blood when I wiped, only when I wiped, that later turned to brown. Now CD 13 brown blood when I wiped and actually spotted. Today is CD 14 and once again brown blood with I wipe. I've had cramps on CD 12 and today. What the heck do you think could be going on?

But that just because of where your at in your cy.
I don't know anything about bc, maybe it has something to do with that.

CD9 is very, very early for ovulation. Even if you did O then, it takes 7-10 days to implant so you wouldn't be implanting until CD16 at the very earliest.

I think Samantha might be right about it being ovulation, some women (me included on certain cycles) have ovulation pain which is like a cramping feeling.

If you have any question in your mind about possibly having a m/c on your last cy, I would encourage you to see a doctor. Sometimes after miscarriages you need a D&C because there are some remaining "debri" (for lack of a better word which will cause you problems down the road.

I'm going with ovulation too. But if you think it might be something different, maybe take a HPT and rule that out. And then watch this cy and see if it gets more "normal". If not, head into the dr and let them know you are having irregular cy. Sometimes they can do an u/s and see if there is any "leftovers" from a suspected/unconfirmed m/c.
