Default hi ladies! introducing myself

Hello everyone!

my name is nikki. i'm very soon to be 25 and married to DH, 32, for 1.5 years. Today is CD1 and it's now been a year since we started TTC#1. It's been a depressing, angering and confusing year. We are making an appointment tomorrow at a fertility clinic to see what's going on. I'm scared to death that they'll say we can never conceive anyone ever been to a clinic and can tell me what to expect? im so glad i found somewhere to talk about this. IRL no one understands and keep giving "advice" such as "just relax" and "maybe God is saying you're not ready" thanks in advance! looking forward to getting to know you all!
to all!

I wish I could give you any better advice than them. But I am so new to this TTC thing. My husband and I have 17 month old twins (Sonja & Jakob) and we are TTC#3 after a m/c a few months ago at 13 weeks. We'll be trying things on our own for a few cycles to see if we get lucky before seeing a dr about it. Good luck at the fertility clinic and I wish you the best and lots of

I've never been to a fertility clinic, actually we don't even have an infertility clinic here in town, but some of the other girls here have. Some of the "grads" and "oldtimers". I wish you luck at the clinic though, hopefully they will get you a good protocol and get you preggo in no time!

and I hope you get it all figured out quickly!

i went to a infertility doctor and my experience has been nothing but good with them, although i have not gotten pregnant they are great doctors. i have had three iui's, just a week ago i had laparoscopy and hysteroscopy to make sure i dont have blockage in my tubes, turns out nothing is wrong so hopefully we can get pregnant next cycle. i know it is scary believe me, are you going to see if anything is wrong with you or DH or do you know that something is wrong and are looking into options? Before we began IUI process my husband and I knew DH had no sperm count due to testicular cancer when he was two. so we knew what to expect but not sure what doctors would say. it is not bad going to see infertility docs, our made us feel comfortable always.
Good luck and keep in touch, and i hope you get good news
love
erin
