Hello! My name is Jenn, I have a 15 month old daughter Aislyn, and me and Dh have decided to try for #2 fairly recently.

[I've never actually TTC before. With my daughter i just stumbled upon pregnancy. Now we're trying, and i'm none too sure what i'm doing. I THINK i'm 10 dpo, my question is, what day should i test for the best results? I don't want to test too early.... but i really want to test.

As for your answer, the back of the HPT always show the stats...I think they are most accurate after is due. Some ladies here are able to get 10-12dpo, others can't. I'm sure other ladies will chime in with their reponses who have already gotten their .

Welcome!! I tested at 10 dpo and fully expected a BFN, but it was a faint positive. I got my BFP with DD at around 12 dpo, and with DS it wasn't positive until after AF was due. So it varies, and I think the best time to test is around 12 dpo if you are sure of your ovulation. If not, maybe just wait, but it is so hard!!

Thank you ladies! I tested today, and it was bfn, but i'm feeling sick, and have been for a couple days, so hopefully its not just the flu. lol. I think it took a long time with my first daughter to get a BFP, i had to go to the doctor because i couldn't figure out why i felt so sick, and that was when i found out i was pg. My tests had all been BFN.
