GRADS THREAD #44 (preg and baby ment)

I figured I would start this since I was getting ready to post some serious ultrasound pics...

Grads post your updates, belly pics anything related to your pregnancy here and only place them here to be considerate to those ttc.. ALSO post here about your babies if you have a baby.

If you're not a grad feel free to post well wishes, questions, anything to the grads here and only in this post and not elsewhere on the board!!

This thread was created to keep our grads feeling comfortable on this board to update us on their pregnancies without having multiple pregnancy related posts on this TTC Board.

I had another ultrasound appt yesterday. I go back in 3 weeks, March 27th. I love all these u/s appts. Everything looked good. They were measuring the nuchal translucency in each one. Kinda scares me worrying about so much. They can't do the blood tests b/c with multiples the results are all mixed. It was a freaking 3 hour appt. But all looked good. They said the measurements should be under 2 and they were .93, 1.0 and 1.4. Baby B wasn't very cooperative so I had to get a transvaginal u/s and still didn't get a great measurement on him but they did it in 3D and I think I saw a penis.

Here are the stats as of yesterday I was 11 weeks 3 days.

Baby A 11w 5d 165 heartbeat


Baby B 11w 1d 173 heartbeat



Baby C 11w 4d 175 heartbeat


And here is where I thought I saw a penis!!!

WEll I can not get a beta because my ob wont do them and the RE I used to go to will not do one because I have not been in to see them for over a year. So my OB has me coming in on march 16 for an U/S.

Will seven weeks be long enough where I should see a heartbeat?

Jess. Yep, you should see a heartbeat at 7 weeks. Funny that you ask that today, because I just told a pt. today that it's not uncommon to not see anything before 7 weeks!! When's your EDD??

Patty, good luck at your U/S tomorow, update us with a gender as soon as you can!

Linds, OMG, I've never seen a gender that early!! As an U/S tech I think that's a boy!! But I do have to say, it's hard to call it that early because the clitoris is very prominant until about 18 or 19 weeks. I hope you get a boy and 2 girls!!

Okay, let me clarify that. If the dates are good, we should see a h/b at 6 weeks, usually all the time by 7 weeks, but if dates aren't good, 7 weeks is a good time because even if you are off by a week that puts you at 6 weeks and we usually see a h/b at 6 weeks. The earliest I've seen a h/b was at 5w6d with a good LMP and that was transvaginal. Once you are about 6w3d we can generally do everything through the belly and not have to do the vaginal u/s, but that varies with facility and dr's. HTH!!

Jess, did the want you on progesterone or anything since you had losses in the past? I have some left over that I was gonna toss...if you want it. I know that stuff is like gold!!!

well our u/s went well---the baby wouldnt roll onto its back so we didnt get to see the full heart so I get to go back in 2 weeks for another----but we are having a little girl

Lindsay they did not say anything about Prog. I guess I will find out on Friday 3-16. But so far I am doing wonderful with this pg. This is like none of the others that I have had.

On a side note, I have the norovirus now. I was up all last night throwing up and can not hold anything down. My ob called in phinergan (SP) and told me to take imodium ad since those are safe while pg. They help a lot and I can keep water down. No food for me for a couple of days. I thought it was m/s but it was more then that.

Ugh Jess, norovirus sucks. It swept thorugh our valley and knocked out half the hospital staff. Anybody that comes into our ER with those symptoms immediately gets put in isolation! I hope it is a quick illness for you.

Hey girls. I've been trying to keep up with everyone, but I know I'm WAY behind!

Jess- Congratulations, girl!... about the baby, not the virus. ugh. I've had a stomach virus with every pregnancy, except I'm usually about 8 months when I get it. Blah.

Patty- Congrats to you on finding out that you're having a GIRL!!

Linds- I still can't believe you're having THREE babies! I watched a show on TLC the other night called "triple the triplets". It followed three moms that had triplets... totally awesome. congratulations to you!

Kara- I was looking through one of my catalogs today and I thought of you. If you haven't already, you've GOT to go to www.rainbowresource.com and request your FREE catalog. It's SO AWESOME! It's the size of a telephone book and is crammed with almost anything you can think of related to HSing. Plus, they review every single book and resource, so you get a heads-up and what to expect.

As for me, I've begun charting again. Of course, I've yet to see AF PP and Parker still nurses throughout the night. My temps are low and so is my cervix, so the big O is probably months away yet. Anyway, Corey and I are planning to TTC in Sept...!!! I feel a little crazy just even saying that... but, look, Linds and I will be moms-of-four together.

Darci, I'm in the same boat of TTC (or charting as it ends up being) while BF. My temps are so so low, and of course Jailee's favorite time to nurse is in the middle of the night! I thought I'd O'd once, but it ends up that I didn't because all I get are BFN and no AF. So I think I'm on CD 78 or so.....Did you TTC while BF any of your other girls? When do you get your PPAF back if you've BF for awhile. At LLL one of the girls, who nurses about the same amount as Jailee and I, said she got hers back regularily at 15 mo, so a month to go for me.

I got my first PP AF at 11 months with Presley (it was about 6 weeks with Peyton, even though I WAS nursing!). Presley didn't sleep through the night until she was right around a year old, then she continued to nurse voraciously during the day until about 15 months. By then I was already pregnant, and she weaned herself right after she turned 17 months old, despite my best efforts to continue nursing... I was all ready to tandem nurse!
Anyway, I thought I'd be seeing AF a couple of weeks ago, because I was feeling really crampy and irritable. I started temping and realized quickly that nothing was going on! Corey thought that I might be pg already (!!), but I knew there wasn't any since in peeing on sticks with temps in the 96.8-97.2 range! My usual pg range centers around 98.
Maybe we'll both begin cycling soon and end up preggers together! I have started back up with my vit B complex to help with my cycles if they ever come back. Plus I will add Vitex if I haven't seen AF by Parker's birthday (April 23rd).

Darci, or anybody else that knows, what's Vitex?? I'm hoping to start cycling soon. We were going to wait until this fall, but now DH is excited to TTC, so we are starting as soon as I cycle. Since I've lost weight I'm hoping I'll cycle on my own, but I'm not too hopeful, since I've been on the Metformin and it's not helping me cycle, it might be a tough road again. But if we aren't succesful by summer, June-ish, and I'm cycling I'll be heading in for some help, clomid-wise. The PCOS has done a # on my cycles, and the only way we got preggo with Kaden is I had just gotten off BCP, but I'm not willing to go on them just to go off them and try to get preggo. I hope we can be in the same DI board, that would be so great!!

Kim and Darcy : would love for AF to come back too -- Leïla stopped nursing at night at 6 weeks (5 months ago!) and takes a bottle in the evening and I still haven't seen her! I just wish she would show up so I could stop guess! Good luck to both of you! The baby facory here has closed down!

Nothing new here. Leïla is starting to sleep really really really well! She goes down at 9pm and I don't here a thing unil 10am or some days even 10:30am!! Then an hr nap in the morning, 3hr nap in the afternoon and another 45 min nap in the evenings. When she is awake she is such a joy -- I swear there are days I don't hear her cry at all. She just loves to roll around on her blanket and play!

Lindsay - Look at those adorable babies. AWWWWWWW!!!! It does look like a penis to me. I hope you get 1 boy and 2 girls too. Glad things are going well.

Jessica - I'm so happy you are pg. I have a feeling this will be a sticky baby. I sure hope so.

As for us. David turned 2 on Wednesday. He's day time potty trained and does usually wake up dry or wakes up to potty at night. YAY! He's doing great, except he has a tummy bug today. Poor baby. E had it over the weekend so hopefully it will only be 24 hours like hers was.

Af showed today for me. Not too surprised since we didn't get much bd'ing in. Dave is having his gallbladder removed on Monday, he's been really sick for the past couple of weeks. Hopefully he'll feel better after Monday.

sorry i have been scarce ladies...just kinda laying low, 4 dpo today and really feeling optimistic with this cycle so lets hope something good comes out of it!!

I see a little something in that last picture but its from my understanding that the clitorisis can look like that until around 15 weeks when it becomes less swollen, no ultrasound tech, though, HAHA good luck sweetie!! Cant wait to find out what those babies are!!
