Hi ladies. I'm really hoping for some guidance here. I'm at the disbelief/excitement/maybe-I-read-it-wrong-or-waited-too-long-stage.

My last cycle ran from NOV 11th -JAN 3rd (yes, 57 days long and I'll blame it on my Christmas with my MIL).

My cycles have been all over the place the past 11 months ranging from 30-57 days (twice). Because of the long, wacky cycle length we started DTD CD16- CD 33 (average every 2-3 days).

Now, I felt good about everything based on my CM changes around CD26 and 27 (it was wa-te-ry!). Timing seemed promising.

The other night I had a dream about my husband and I seeing 2 lines on a test (totally non-scientific).

Last night I was trying to decide one way or the other if I should POAS in the morning (hubby is out of town). When I woke up this am I did it thinking that way it'll be out of the house and no more POAS pressure.

The thing is, I got a line. I think. A fainter line than the control, but I didn't have to squint to see it. I have been carrying around a pee-soaked piece of plastic and staring at these lines all freaking day-even at work!

I feel like I'm willing the lines to be there. I'm freaked that it was a faulty test and if I tried it again they won't appear. I'm starting to convince myself that I peed on it too long and it just registered more HcG than the average pee would. I know it sounds crazy. I feel like I'm going crazy. I want to dance for joy but I'm too afraid I'm wrong!

I've always heard that a line is a line. If you weren't pregnant you wouldn't get one at all. You can wait a couple of days and try again, I'm sure then you would get a darker . Congrats!

I agree a line is a line! And your body wouldnt register any hcg if there wasnt any so there's not really a problem with peeing on it too much, they just advise you not to Can you take a picture or scan it for us so we can see if we see it?!?! Sounds like a BFP is in order!!! If not I agree test again tomorrow or the next day!!! Your numbers double ever couple of days so if you test again the line should be darker within 2-3 days!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I agree with the other ladies - a line is a line. The test registers hcg that simply wouldn't be in your system unless you are pregnant. Definitely test again in another day or so to put your mind at ease - it should be a little darker, and seeing a line again will relieve you. Congrats!

I tried to take a pic yesterday morning but it wasn't working with the flash and everything. Now my DH is home. I really don't want to say anything until it is for sure so I will test Sunday or Monday morning again. I already went out and got the test. It is a First Response so I shouldn't be concerned about it being a cheapie one. If it is positive I will try to get in to see my dr and get the blood work done. If it all works out I guess I will tell DH on the 14th, or maybe wait until his birthday on the 19th... Either way I'll have to be for a few days. If it turns out my original POAS was faulty then I'll have Valentines's Day as a consolation.

I feel like I'm bursting with excitement and uncertainty.
