Icon4 Cervix question..help!!

ok so i've heard how women can check if their O'ing or about to by the way their cervix feels SHOW..soft hight open wet and i also know that when your not o'in it gets firm again...i've felt my cervix at both times so i know how they each feel..what i dont know is how to tell whether or not its open or closed..now i think i have o'ed already and im due for AF sometime this week..ive been cramping lately..headaches..some discharge etc..none of which are af signs for me..SO i decide to look up cervix changes during pregnancy and read that when your prego..ur cevix is soft rises a bit and closed..so i decide to check mine to see how it feels and its soft and high and i guess its closed because it doesnt feel like my finger is goin in anything which i read would be how it feels if its open.just feels like im touching around it .so i dont know how to take this..am i now o'in?? or can i really be prego?..i have no ewcm..just creamy wet cm

this is what i read on it

In the early stages of pregnancy you may notice that your cervix will rise a bit and become softer, but the timing of this happening will vary from woman to woman. You may see the change in your cervix shortly before your period is due or you may not feel this for several weeks.

i've read that that happens around 6-8 weeks of pregnancy.

I've also been a CP checker (though have had some time off!! lol)...I didn't check my cervix first time around, so don't know exactly how it feels in a cervix that hasn't already been stretched to push a 9lber out!! haha
Do you check it every day? If so, you WILL feel a difference in the Os. For me, since I've already had one baby, the shape is more ovular than round, so more () than o...but if you're feeling the right place, you will feel a sort of dimple in the center of the end of the cervix. Are you sure you're not feeling along the side? Mine tilts, so the end is facing my back instead of more straight up and down, so if yours would happen to be similar, it could be a little more confusing to feel the Os without doing a bit of exploratory work!

I was able to find such a good diagram for someone on FF before, but can't seem to come across it now to show you the difference, but assuming you've never had a child before, this is what you'll be feeling for.
