YLWLC: Supplements anyone?
Is anyone here taking weight loss supplements?
I took them prior to my wedding in 2001, lost alot of weight (and got alot of energy thanks to the caffeine), but it made me a little overexcitable. One time I was babysitting and I went in the little girls room, dumped out all her dresser drawers, refolded and reorganized all her clothes "for fun". I wasn't thrilled with the way they made me feel so I am a little leary of taking any other kinds.
Anyone have any they like?

I havent taken any, and dont intend to. Becuase of my thyroid disorder, I dont want to risk any interactions.
I like the idea of fast weight loss though.

Re: YLWLC: Supplements anyone?
I'm not taking any but my friend at work is taking something (I don't remeber the name). She gets it from Rite-Aid, I don't know if you have those around you. It is a bunch of herbal stuff that helps to curb your appetite. She has lost 10-15lbs already and loses about 2lb a week. I'll ask her tomorrow what it is if you are interested.

I don't take any either. But the instant weight loss sounds great though. Are they really safe? After you stop using them did you gain the weight back?

Erin, I would love to know what it is. Way to look out!
Crystal, I agree that the idea of fast weight loss is tempting. I would like to reach my goal soon.
Sarah, good questions! You thought of some I haven't!

You're doing well so far! Not long til half-way! I bet you're already feeling better in yourself, huh? Have you had to buy smaller clothes yet?

My work clothes are bigger on me, but not incredibly so. For in between clothes I am going to buy used clothes because I can't imagine spending all kinds of money for clothes that I will (hopefully) not be wearing soon!

I would want to spend the most money on clothes once I have hit my target weight.

Re: YLWLC: Supplements anyone?
I was lucky that I kept my smaller clothes. I am fitting into some jeans that I haven't worn in 2 years. It was a great feeling the day that I could get them zipped up and still feel comfortable. I love that pair of jeans, there're my favorite ones now.

Re: YLWLC: Supplements anyone?
I've been quite badly overweight since early 2000, so most of my smaller clothes was given to SIL, and now I have some of them back lol (cant wear them yet though)

Re: YLWLC: Supplements anyone?
This past summer I lost a good bit of weight from running and went down a few sizes. I actually have, all total, lost more weight than is in my ticker. I had a few pieces of old clothes and wound up fitting into clothes I hadn't worn in about six-seven years.
I am still far from where I wanna be, though

Re: YLWLC: Supplements anyone?
Miss Ren, I asked my friend for the name of that pill that she is taking. It is called Xenadrine EFX. She gets it at Rite Aid but there is a generic brand that she also gets. She has lost so much, she is gloating.
hope this helps,
Erin
