Default Question

Hi everyone. I started with OPK today and it has 2 dark lines. Now my chart isn't saying anything and I have PCOS and I know this can make these tests not be accurate. What should I do? Should I call the DR or what? Sorry not ever done these before.

Is the test line as dark as, or darker than the control line? Cause if it is, then its a positive test, meaning you should ovulate within 24 to 48 hrs. If your test is positive, then I would mark on your chart that you got a positive test today, and just watch your temps and see if you get a rise. If the test line isn' t as dark as the control, then I would continue testing until it is. You could always call your doc is you are confused or have questions. I was never diagnosed with PCOS, but I do suspect that I have it, so I'm not sure what to tell you about that part. Hope that helps.

Thanks ladies. I am writing it on my chart that way the DR can see it. Also it was as dark so I would hope that it is +. I will do it again tomorrow just in case.

Well it looks the same today and my temps still aren't doing anything but bouncing. I don't like doing these tests.

PCOS increases the likelyhood of false + (I get 2 or 3 sets of + in a cy), but it's normal to have a few days of + just make sure you're covered
