im a pin cushion lol

well i got all my blood work done yesterday i feel like a pin cushion now and my arms are sore this morning but. the 3 hours glucose thing was totally discusting and for some resion i felt super tired all day im not shure if thats normal but ill know the results of everything in about 6 weeks when i go back to the fertility doc. I have to have an HSG done in a couple weeks when and if AF shows im a little freaked about that im reading the info the dr gave me on it and the hole sticking my cervix with a needle to numb it doesent sound that great. neither does the rest of it. any way got a question for those of you who have had it done will they let Dh come in with me? nad how bad is this really gonna be.

i dont remeber being stuck with a needle, and if i was i didnt feel it. the whole thing really isnt all that bad. you feel lots of pressure-discomfert and cramps like with af. as soon as they took all the intruments out all the discomfert went away. oh and they let the hubby be in there with me. good luck to you! just go in there with a eased mind and you will be fine!

ya right me go into a DR office with an eased mind lol. thats a good one my blood presher goes up as soon as i make the apointment. Im not a big fan of DR's so this has been alot of stress for me. It makes Dh so mad that going to the DR bothers me so mutch. I guess i get it from my dad he is the same way. I try to take it one appt at a time. thanks for the info

I don't think I was stuck with a needle either...in fact I am positive I wasn't. He rubbed some sort of numbing cream instead. Yes...bring DH with you...mine wasn't able to come but the nurse was holding my hand the whole time and was very comforting...so was the Dr. who performed it. It wasn't real bad but I hope I don't have to do it again. You will feel LOTS of pressure and cramping (or at least I did...they say every woman feels it to a different degree). They made me switch positions a couple of times which was kind of difficult b/c I was cramping...they needed to get a good picture from all angles though. Once he removed the instrument the pain did go away immediately. You will just have spotting afterwards so bring a pad...they will provide you a HUGE one if you forget though. Overall the discomfort is only for a couple of minutes and easily forgotten. You'll do fine

i was talking to DH last night and i ask him if they let him would he come in with me. He told me he would have to think about it for some reasion i have a feeling he wont come in with me. He wouldnt even come in when i had to sit at the lab for almost 4 hours to get all that blood work done. he went in with me for my first infertility appt though. so i dont know i think im gonna have ot give him a guilt trip to get him to come with me. lets see what can i use lol..... I am RIGHT with you!! I know EXACTLY how you feel!! My DH was supposed to be coming we me to my HSG all along and then at the last min he didn't come. He could have got out of going to work but used that as an excuse. Bottom line...I was glad he didn't come because I had to wait about 45min before they took me back and he gets really impatient when he has to wait so having him with me would have stressed me out more. Also...he felt TERRIBLE for not going with me so knowing he had to deal with that guilt made me feel better

Just because he knows he should have been with me. He didn't realize how big of a deal it was at the time. I found that sometimes you are just better off to not even push the issue and realize that their own guilt will bother them. I just hope mine is willing to get involved when I actually become preg...at least for the first few Dr. visits.

I dont know if he will come in or not he is odd some times he tells me one things then turns around and doese something totally different so i never know. Im completely impashent though im ready for these two weeks to go buy the sucky thing is if AF shows and i get this HSG done then i still have to wate another almost 4 weeks to find out the results of my blood test and and HSG (inless the tec will tell me right their) cues my DR wont give you lab results over the phone any more grrr. im not verry good at wating can ya tell

The doc who performed by HSG was VERY good and he went over the results IMMEDIATELY with me...he turned the screen around and explained to me what everything was. He said my tubes filled up with the dye about as fast as any he had ever seen which meant they definitely weren't blocked. You should be able to find out something that day. The good thing is that is has been said that you are highly fertile for a few months after having an HSG so at least that is something to look forward to

I hope they go over it all with me their so i dont have ot wate so long to find out the results of it. im crossing my fingers i get a doc who will. well hopefully the highly fertal thing is corect lol that would be aswem it feels like we have been trying forever. I know Dh is getting frustrated with it we were in the store yesterday just roaming around for something to do and i wanted to look at baby stuff gadgets and things and he told me no i ask him why and he said because he dident want to get his hopes up any more. It made me sad but at least i know he is feeling the same way as i am. Cycle before last when AF showed he came home from work to find me crying on the coutch (which is unuisal for me im not a cryer) it took him 20 minutes before he could get it out of me what was wrong. I cant help but feel broken at time. Im trying to stay positive though well see how this cycle turns out. only 8-9 days to go.

When we first started TTC we had it planed out so the baby would be 6 months old when DH got out of the military that plan dident work out so well. I like to have things planed and this is driving me nuts no one else in my family has ever had a hard time getting pregnant the first cycle they were pregnant my mom got pregnant while on BC all my sisters the first try even my brother. so i guess i had to be the dificult one lol
