Icon9 Hi, Im new and have been TTC for

Hiya
I am new here and i have been TTC for the last 13 months. I am almost about to give up, wheni decided to try here first
I hope you can maybe give me some help/idea and and advice. I am not unhealthy and i cant see why i am having so much trouble concieving.
Its really strange that im not expecting a bouncy baby after all this time.
I have been though many things in my head and i cant think of any reason that would cause me not to concieve.
any ideas?
thanks
xx

Welcome, its always nice to hear from a new person in here. as you can tell its kind of slow, but im trying to boost it up a little.. well im christina i've been ttc for 12 months, ive had 2 pregnancies that ended in miscarriage. Im hoping that this month we'll get pg and have a healthy little baby.. Well lets see, when i got pregnant i did a few things, but im not sure what u are trying so ill tell u my successes. Ummm, well i knew when i ovulated and when my fertile days were because i used an ovulation predictor online. that works if you know your cycle is pretty regular. then the days it said i was most fertile were the days the my DH and i began our baby dancing.we'd BD on the days that i was most fertile and extra on the last day, and after each time id put a pillow or 2 under my hips/ butt to help the little guys find their way.. i read that it helps to help them. also to lay down for at least 30 minutes after so the sperm has enough time to reach its destination.. That really helped me so hopefully it will help you too and good luck im here if you need anything!

I would have to agree with the charting. I didn't even know if I was ovulating before I started charting. Its really easy to do, and can tell you all kinds of things about your body. All you gotta do is get a basal therm, and take your temp at the same time every day, before getting out of bed or doing anything. Then you input your temps into a chart (fertility friend works good) and there ya go. It helps to record your cervical fluid as well, cause it can tell you if you are peak fertility or not. A really great book to read is Take charge of your fertility. It tells you all kinds of things about getting pregnant. Alot of women consider it their bible.

And after 13 months, you could possibly consider seeing your doctor. Couples who have been trying for over a year are told to see their doctor if they have not been able to get pregnant in that amount of time. I was one of them, we tried for almost 2 years before I got enough courage to see my doctor, and now I wish I would have sooner, because now its 4 years later, and I'm infertile. So don't waste time. If you have been timing sex perfectly for the last 13 months, I'd suggest you see your doctor and see what is up.

Good luck
