i have been ttc for about 6 months. i took one depo shot and now im trying. i was so easy i got pregnant before with out trying. now when i want a baby its not happening. any advice?

Hey Kimmie, Welcome!! its nice to finally see a new fresh thread!! Well, first i was wondering how long were you on depo for?? I ask because my friend took it twice a total of 6 months and it took her almost a year after to even get her normal cycles back... Also, my doc told me that it can mess up the whole menstrual system for up to a year, sometimes you may not even ovulate.. But anyway, what else have you tried? If you know your fertile days and you're propping up your hips after BD and you stay in bed for at least 30 minutes then everything will happen at its own pace.. But i did those things and got pg twice!! Goodluck, and it's nice to have you here.

I just though id drop in and welcome you. Im julie we have been ttc baby number 1 for three cycles. Im on CD6 of my fourth cycle and crossing our fingers we get prego this cycle. Iv been off BC for over a year now i was on three different bc for two years before going off it i started out with ortho tri cyclin then the evera patch then finally hte nuva ring when i decided i was sick of the bc side effects and we went to condoms tell we started trying. so i dont know why we havent gotten prego yet But i wish you the best of luck ill be sending you lots of baby dust. My sister in law got prego while she was on depo. and my other sis had three and four week long periods so i was afraid ot give it a try now after all i hear about it im glad that i refused it when my dr tried to give it to me. look foward to getting to know you.
