I've been pondering all the nonsense I used to believe before I knew better, and thought it'd be fun to share with others and make a forum game out of it. So here's how it goes: you start with the line "When I didn't know any better" and fill in the blank. Also, read through the previous posts and second anything that you also believed, be honest!! Let's see what kinds of silly things we all used to believe about our bodies and reproduction. I'll start.

When I didn't know any better, I believed that a woman ovulated two days before her period, right up through age 16! There were many times I'd engaged in protected sex in the days just before my period and worried about being pregnant. The fear probably did me good though
