Re: Erin, where are you?
Sorry that I was gone so long. It has been a very busy week. We had a busy weekend, errands and such. Monday I had a bridal shower that I had forgotten about. Last night I was oncall and my DH decided to re-arrange his office.
I am doing well on my temping. It showed that I did ovulate, so I was excited. Today I had a crazy moment. I was at work and I got this crazy hurting pain in my right side. I tried to walk back where I was working and I about fell down because I was hurting so bad. I finally was able to move to a chair and sat there for 20 minutes or so. It hurt so bad. It was a down low, stabing pain. It gradually faded to the point I could walk. One of the other nurses that used to work in OB said that it sounds like I may have endometriosis on my round ligament. And it causes that pain during ovulation or right before you start your cycle. So she said to monitor it and let my MD know if it becomes more frequent. It has happened once before, about 10 months ago. So I'll wait and see what happens. I'm not telling the DH though, he will get too excited. I'm just going to rest tonight and take it easy, I'm still pretty sore.
Sorry for the novel. Has any one else experienced this?

Re: Erin, where are you?
Oh Erin. Hope that it doesn't turn out to be endometriosis. Sorry that I don't have any info on it.

Re: Erin, where are you?
I dont get any pain usually, not even at AF... I hope it's not endo though... have you had a fertility work-up from your DR at all?

Re: Erin, where are you?
Hi Erin... Sorry to hear about your pain. I used to have pain like that before I went on BCP. It normally came during the night and hurt so bad it hurt to breath or move, I couldn't even roll over. I'm hoping it doesn't come back now that I'm off BCP again. I hope it was just some weird cramp for you.

Re: Erin, where are you?
I typically have very heavy periods and very heavy cramping. Which I believe is some small signs of endo. But I don't have any of the other signs. The DH and I have discussed this as a possiblility but I keep forgetting to ask the doctor about it when I see her. I hope that it is just a freak thing and everything is okay.

Re: Erin, where are you?
they do sound like possible endo sxs, but most people with mild cases like you probably have dont need any tx and get PG fine

Re: Erin, where are you?
I sure hope so. I have never really heard how bad it has to be before it affects your tubes and ovaries. The DH and I were just discussing it today (his grandma was asking about us having kids, and he told her that endo may be a possibility and she started telling him horror storys about cancer and got him nervous). I told him that it probably was not very advanced and that we would see when I went back to the doctor in May. But when I think about endo May seems to be a long way off. GRRRRR.
I hope that you all are having a good weekend.
Erin
