Default The 2ww-syndrome

Well I didn't think that I'd started to go crazy in the 2ww each month yet (I'm only on the third!). Then I dreamed of peeing on a stick and getting a positive last night. It's kind of hard when you're trying not to get your hopes up too high then dream about a positive pee test. Oh, this morning's test was negative of course.

So what does everyone else suffer from during the 2ww?

hehe I do the same thing with hunting evaporation lines (they're easier to find if you take the test apart). I know how you feel with time dragging by...then a new cycle starts and I'm wondering if I did anything productive in the previous 2 weeks =(

I feel the same, I feel like I accomplish nothing sometimes, I have been at this for nearly six months, three seriously tracking and charting, and each month that passes with no BFP is just a waste in my mind, I try to be a bit more positive bit I am moody and getting a visit from AF at the time of me thinking this usually.

*HUGS*
I've been feeling somewhat grouchy since my cervix decided to go all soft and open yesterday, assuming AF will be right on time this month =( My future in-laws are in town too this weekend, yee-haw.

I had a friend give me the "watched pot" analogy and wanted to strangle him. He kind of had a point though, there's such a huge variable of luck involved in conception.

I don't know if this will help you any, but I've started going through my yarn stash and making baby projects (have a lot of odds and ends, nothing for an adult-sized project though). So you know, by the time I have a little one, I should have a nice wardrobe for them and maybe a mountain of stuff to give to charity. At least by the end of this 2ww, I'll be able to say I finished a baby blanket instead of "I'm not pregnant yet".

How is your blanket going, anyways? The one I just finished has a basket weave pattern and is about 3 feet square.

I don't suffer much from the syndrom, but this month I got sore boobies and a lot of CM (something that does not happen to me while I'm on the 2ww. Actually it's only happened once - when I was pg last year).
Then every one tell me "OMG those are pregnancy symtoms!! You could be pg!" And I just say "Hey, cool your horses! The Fat Lady hasn't sung yet!" and she'll only sing when she knows the words to !
But yes the urge to buy a HPT is really getting to me this time. But I've got to wait! I've got to be strong! I made myself promise only test next week on the day of DH's b-day. (23rd)

My baby blanket I was working on is finished, and I have started a new one that is brown and baby blue, might post a picture later.

So today I was supposed to get my period and the nasty witch hasn't showed, I am trying to wait until tomorrow to test but I might run to the bathroom and POAS now.

I hate when people use the "watched pot" analogy, I could choke them too. I get a ton of Bull Stuff from my SIL she was over at our place last night telling me about the hundreds of false positives she has gotten, I just rolled my eyes.

And also don't forget to spread the baby dust.

"Hundreds of false positives", eh? That's right up there with "only CRAZY EXPENSIVE digital tests are reliable"

I'm also double-posting a mountain of dust here for you too!
