Is there a board for large families wo are expecting
Hi all
My name is Mechelle and I am expecting february 5 2005 and have been posting on the due in feb and jan board since my doctor willl not let me go 40 weeks b/c I am insulind dependent diabetic type1. This pregnancy was to be my fourth child but as of my first u/s at 14 w 4 days I am being blessed with twins so these will be baies 4 & 5 for me. My children are all realy young so I am a bit concerned about being able to handle all of them. I am just hoping that the lord truly only gives us what we can handle. We were not TTC this pregancy so I am convinced it is what the Lord wants for us I just hope I can handle it.
I am looking for others with large families to pose silly questions too like
How do you leave you house with so many kids?
What kind of car do you drive?
Is there any hope of exer finding a babysitter who will watch 5 kids under the age of 6?
If anyone can help or knows of a board where I may belong please let me know

Hi, Mechelle! There is a board for families of 4 or more here on She Knows. I don't think there is specifically a board for pg large families, though. You can post here whenever you like. There are alot of ladies who post here with large families! Congratulations on your twins! That is exciting! The Lord has really blessed you!!
I'll be happy to answer some of your questions:
I have 6 kids (12. 10, 8. 6. 3. 7mo.). We go lots of places together, eat out, movies etc. take family vacations. I just have to plan ahead, be organized, get the kids to help out. We drive an 8 passenger Ford Excursion. Works well for us. As far as a sitter, my 12 year old son watches my 4 girls and I haven't left my 7 mo. old baby with anyone yet. He goes with my dh and I on dates  Good luck and hope to see you back here!

Hi there and welcome, Iam Tanya and I have 7 girls including twins who are now 7, They were my 4th&5th as well, And I also had 5 under 6 as well lol when the twins were born I was 24 at the time. Their ages are 12,11,9,7,7,5,3, and Iam also expecting # 8 in feb, I also have 2 angels born at mid-term in 2002-2003 who were also girls, So I guess God's plan was for me to have all girls. And Iam not complaning I really love it.
I always wanted twins so I was so rapt when I went for my scan and seen that I was having twins, I know in the past I ask God for twins. And I belive that the Lord gives special people twins, Cos he knows who can cope with them and handle it. They were the first set on both sides of the family and still are the ony ones.
Congrats you will have a ball with them. Anyway here is a link to a site that has a board for large families pg board. It also has other boards there for other things with to do with large famlies.
