Hello..I'm new to this board, I usually only post on the Feb board, and lurk on all the others... I'm not officially TTC yet, but will be very soon, like around August or so, and this will be #6 for us. My kids are 14, 11 *will be 12 in aug*, 4, 1 *will be 2 in aug* and my newest addition who just turned 5 months. I'm 34 *will be 35 in aug* I know....lots of august babies...we have cold winters here in wisconsin and dh is 28....I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Just curious as to what you consider to be a large family?? 2...3...4...5...6..etc...etc... And what baby will this be for you?

Hello, Shannon!! Welcome!! So great to see a new face here You have a beautiful family! Some of our kids are really close in age, my ds turns 12 in July (he's my oldest), and my youngest is 5 mo. old, too (Garrett was born Dec 29, 2003). What is your 5 mo. old's bdate? This will be my 8th pg ( I had a m/c between #5 & #6). I am not officially ttc yet, either. Still no ppaf I think a big family is 4 or more, what do you think? Although, 3 kids is not as common as it used to be either. Regardless, my dh and I get alot of stares when we take our kids places and there are alot of families bigger than ours. I am originally from the Midwest, too. Just moved to Florida after 14 years in Iowa. How do you like Wisconsin? OH, I am 34 also and will be 35 in November. I don't have any August babies, maybe I'll get to try for one this year?? Hope to hear more from you!

Hi Shannon and good luck ttc # 4, how many are you trying for?

OMG Sunshine, we have tons in common. My 5 month old was born on Jan. 28, 2004, so our babies are about a month a part. Wow, Florida has to be a HUGE change compared to Iowa huh? Where in Iowa did you live? I love Wisconsin, I live very close to the Packer Stadium, so close in fact I can actually hear the Packer games, the only bad thing is that i'm not a HUGE football fan Hmmm as to what I think a big family is, I would have to say 4. But for me, when I tell people that I have 5 kids they almost freak out, and in all honesty, it's really not bad at all, as long as you have structure and everyone pitches in kwim, and I think once you have 4, whats one more or two more etc..etc...kwim People must really freak when they see you have 7 kids huh....Then there's people who think it's really cool that you have all those kids...Then...*all my thens* who really cares what anyone thinks...right?? right!! Oh...one more thing, I also had 2 miscarrages between babies 3 & 4, one was a blighted ovum, and my 2nd was a tubal, and the very next month after the tubal I never even got AF and I got pg with my 4th, and she' will be 2 in Aug. But from what I hear your suppose to be very fertile after a mc and for a year after giving birth, have you heard/read the same? Sorry about the long book, i'll take a rest...

We are aiming for 7, but are open to how ever many we are blessed with . I have heard the same thing about the pg and m/c, although it has only been on these boards, I haven't found anything sientific Kiah was born Jan 19 so Your little Hudson is only a little more than a week younger!! How neat!
Oh, and as for large families I think anything over 4....

Wow Shannon, our babies are really close in age. Hudson doesn't even roll over yet, he gets on to his side but finds his lil pudgy hand, starts suckin and forgets he was gonna try and roll...at least that's what I think.. He had his last doctor appt on the 3rd of this month and weighed 20.4lbs, so he's a reall chubber...Does your baby roll yet?

Hi Shannon Iam Tanya I have 7 girls and expecting #8 in feb, Well actually its my 10th, cos my 2 losses, They were both girls too, So I guess Iam meant for girls lol

Anyway I believe that large "families" I would have to say start from 4 cos alot of people here think that 4 is huge, For me personaly it would have to start from 5, Cos I never had the chance to have 4, Cos my 4th pg was twins.
