Re: Children
Having 6 children is such a wonderful blessing, I wouldn't trade it for anything, although there are trying times. I just try to take each day as it comes, not worry about the future (i.e. braces, college...etc). God has provided for us so far and I trust He will continue to do so. I try to enjoy the kids. You have 4 really close in age, I know it's tough sometimes. I had my first 4 really close also and some days I didn't think I was going to make it. As they get older they can help out more, it does get easier in alot of ways. We do alot of fun things together as a family, don't let having a big family stop us from travelling, etc. Work together w/ your spouse, show a unified front to the kids. That's all I can think of right now. Really, I'm no expert, some days I wonder just what the heck I'm doing w/ all these kids

Re: Children
lol sounds good to me..
I was listening to a sermon the other day and it said if you wait til you can afford kids or in my case worry about affording teh amount i have, then you will never have more or you will never feel you are affording them. Affording them has been on my mind lately but i realize i need not worry about that cuz God will take care of that. He always has so far and i should continue to trust Him for it

Re: Children
I know what you mean. It is okay to be prepared financially but not always possible. God's going to provide; we live in such a materialistic culture, kids want so much and not good for them to get everything they want.

Re: Children
That i much agree with. I know some women who think they cannot have more kids because they cannot afford more. The children they have all have their own tv's, even own computers when they are 6 years old. I remember when i was 6, we only had one tv for the whole house and i played outdoors with my siblings. I wasn't playing on any nintendos (not til a bit older LOL) but we went outside and played with sticks and dirt. I think kids need that. We are raising ducks and its so much fun. The kids love it and they are learning. Next year i think we will be getting a goat lol
