Hello ladies! I am Serena, Mamma to 5.

My dh had a V in March of last year. And we have regreted it ever since. We are currently waiting for an appointment for our V reversal and then off to TTC for baby #6!

I have been there awhile, but coming here only this week. I think this board is a little dead. I keep coming everyday to keep watch. I am hoping it picks up. I have seven, one, my youngest Connor, of course is my post TR baby.

Robin, I did want to ask you about your decision to have #8. Maybe you can help me. I am still not 100% sure. I go back and fourth. I want another, but then I start thinking about time I spend with the others, time with dh, (we don't get much time together), money, my age. So, part of me would even like to have time for myself, movies, dinner, buying stuff for just "me". Sometimes, it is even hard to get on the computer. Dragging everyone to go shopping, my dh usually goes.
Do you ever think about this stuff? Can you give me words of wisdom to help me make up my mind?

Hi, Jenny! I know it is a hard decision. Personally I feel like I will never regret having another child, God willing. Everything else passes but our children are with us forever. Sometimes I feel funny when I am the only older mom with young kids. Everyone else I know my age is done and has older kids, etc. That is why it is so nice to have the support from other people doing the same thing. I think the older kids get alot out of having lots of siblings. I realize there are alot of pros and cons but I am really focusing on the pros If dh would give the okay, I would probably have a few more, but as it is I am praying for at least one more. My legs are in bad shape (varicose veins) but so far that is the only health concern I face, except for ama. We don't have alot of money or room or anything. I don't know if that helps or not.

Thanks Robin. That is how I feel. I know all children are blessings. And, I truely feel very blessed. I to, am older, and defiately feel the way you do. Right now, Connor is hooked on bf, so it may not happen anyway. If it does, I will be happy, if it doesn't, I am sure I will feel sad, but I am sure lucky to have the ones I do.

I don't expect Thomas to wean anytime soon either. I am glad about that but know that will push back the time I can ttc. I hope it works out for the both of us to have another if it is meant to be.
