Default Am I bad for wanting another even if money is tight?

Hello everyone.

I am new on this so bare with me. I was wondering???? I am a bad woman for wanting another child when money is hard for us? I do have 6 children, but they are all grown. I am also 46, so I would be 47 at birth time, if I am lucky. I am just scared that because we just live check to check that this wish makes me very selfish. We do own a home though .... I just want this so much!!! Am I wrong here? Should I not be doing this without a big bank account? The people I know think I am wrong, but in my soul I have a very strong need to do this? I would like some other peoples thoughts. Oh and I will need a tubal reversal, and I am now waiting for my old reports. My GYN said that so far my left tube look very good.
Thank you anyone who answers.

Lorna

Well, I think it all depends on whether or not you are in a position to provide for the baby once he/she gets there. Basic necessities, food shelter etc. I dont think its important that baby should wear nike shoes, or Tommy Hilfigger for toddlers, .
We have three.Money is tight. We rent our home. AND we have to spend the next five months saving up for a TR.(500/month) IT is majorly cutting into our finances. BUT, I know if we can save up for the TR, then surely we will be able to afford wee one when she/he gets here. When I was a single mom with my other three for so many years, I always found a way, and the children never went without food, shelter or Love. As long as all that can be provided, i think that is the most important.

Just so you know, I had a tubal reversal last year with Dr. Roberto Perez in Mexico. It was MUCH more affordable than any US doctors. He is an expert, has been doing reversals for a LOOONG time as a ministry.

I had my first reversal baby 2/06/06 and he is such a blessing. Oh, and we are flat broke but we still are having a ball with him!

Thanks for the answers. I mean I can afford to take care of a baby, I guess deep down I am just worried about our ages. Anyone out there my age and trying? I am 46 and husband is 55. I finally got my first appointment set up for my pre-op stuff. I am very happy, just praying nothing gets in my way.
Prayers would be nice if anyone has the time. I really want a baby and I am running out of time.
Thank you,
Lorna
