DH and I have agreed we want to have our fourth child, hopefully some time in early 2009. I've been charting for a couple months, and we haven't been TTC but we haven't been NOT trying, if that makes sense. We timed it well this month, though, so we'll see.

I have three major symptoms that makes me wonder...I'm uber-tired, I'm uber-hot, and I'm uber-grouchy with my kids. (Uber- three times in one sentence...that's a new record!) Anyway, if any of you have cats, have you ever noticed the mama cat starts growing at her kittens when she's pregnant or ready to wean? Well, I get that way when I am newly pregnant...just irritated and need my space. It fades in a few weeks, and I try hard to ignore the urge to isolate, but it's a pg symptom for me. That, or I'm just grouchy! haha

But, what really makes me laugh, is how laid back both DH and I are this time around. We're sort-of TTC, I'm not psychotically staring at my chart, and I don't already have 3 pregnancy tests in my bathroom. I'm even thinking of waiting the full 18 days after ovulation before I spend any money on a pregnancy test! Considering I went through 5 with my first daughter, 4 with my second, and 3 with my third, this is quite a change.

Anyone else noticing a much more laid back approach this time around?

Were TTC # 4 also, but I think we're probably just the opposite of you. With # 1 & 2, we weren't TTC so no real thinking involved and with # 3 we were pretty laid back, if it happened it happened,if it didnt we'd try again, however I was checking if I was pg "everyday." With TTC # 4 were charting for the first time ever and really trying to follow specific ways in order to try for a boy. So thats my story, just waiting for my BFP.

We have also decided to ttc #4. But as Stephaine mentioned, we are in the same boat as her. We never tried with any of my three daughters...well we did with #3, but weren't charting or going out of our way, just what ever happens happens. Now with #4, I am going to start charting this month, he is Active Duty Army and will be gone for 6 weeks come Friday, and going to follow the ways to have a boy...of course I would truly be happy with either or, as long as they are healthy. So more than likely we won't try for a little while still since he will not be here, but I really want to chart for a while to figure my cycles out. They aren't the regular by any means!

However, I do feel very laid back with #4 still, I am learning so much though as I go with this charting stuff...
