New TTC #3
My name is Chris I am 37 years old. TTC, well we have been doing testing since February. After many set backs we are going to do IUF hopefully on Friday. This will be my third baby. I am on Tamoxifen now. We are using DI because my husband had a vasectomy and he also had colon cancer. Since he knows now that he has a very strong cancer gene and because he had 4 rounds of radical Chemo and radiation we felt the DI was the best way to go. It has given him piece of mind that he won't be passing these traits knowingly to another child. He already has two boys but didn't have the cancer prior to their births. It has been very frustrating navigating the insurance system and even my own cycle. But we seem to be on track and I pray every day that I will be one of the lucky ones who gets Pregnant the first time. Other then the fact that I am 37 I don't have any fertility issues.
I have been reading through everyone’s posts and you all seem to be very supportive. I find sometimes its hard to talk to people they are supportive but they don’t understand. Even my husband who is supportive is somewhat detached because his only involvement in the process is handholding. Which has done very well.
