to normal. it has been a rough few weeks here. Myself and my son anthony were seen in the er on sunday for extreme vomiting and diarrhea i was given an iv with fluids, and 3 meds and sent home with meds we have some kind of stomach flu that is going around. i couldn't keep anything down it came out one way or the other. anthony was given some meds but no iv. i talked to his dr today and his is thinking about sending him to a gastrointrologist because he still has diarrhea so bad that i have to change his clothes with every diaper, but then again the dr is a prik. I blessed them out because he can't keep anything in and he won't eat but he will drink, they proceeded to tell me how horrible of a mother i am because i was letting him eat applesauce today that was the only thing he would eat and it still cme back out. I told them i knew that wasn't the thing he should be eating because of medical background but at this point anything he will eat i will let him. i used so many words with dr office that it would have made a salior blush. i just feel that they nor the er has done anything. 2 trips to the dr and 2 trips to the er in 1 and 1/2 weeks is just obsurde. he has lost 4 pounds and is completely misserable. everybody just keeps telling me to force him to eat and drink. you can't he will puke he ahs done enough of that already. sorry so long i'm just very frustrated and wanted to give you an update why i haven't been around.

since he wont eat but will drink have him drink slimfast or those breakfast drinks. They are ment to replace a meal so they have a good amont of callories and lots of vitamins. If you hold a can of those premade brekfast drinks and a slimfast up together and look at the ingredences they are pretty much the same thing, I think one has more suger and the other more sodium. Alternate that with pedialight. hope you both get better soon.

thank you lakies. I would slimfast or the breakfast drinks but he can't handle the dairy right now and the pedilite forget it he takes one drink and throws it and says yucky and attempts to throw his cup in the trash i've tried mixing it with other things and he still knows it is nin there. this is very frustrating for me because of my medical background. i just feel helpless.
