I had a baby boy november 2006. He was premature so he lived for about 3 hours.
I had a baby girl december 2007.
Shes 3 months old now... and im thinking about trying for another in a couple of months.
I love babies, and i think im really good with them.
I dont want my daughter growing up as an only child (like i was).
And i want them to be close together in age.

I need advice from mothers of 2 under the age of 2.
How hard is it to take care of 2 babies at the same time?

What do you think I should do?

At 1st it can be hard but you get the hang of it fast the more children you have the easier it becomes. Having a large family is a huge blessing, and I love it my self. Prayerfully sending you baby dust.

Hello! I too was an only, and that is a big impetus for me wanting a larger family. We probably have similar reasons for not wanting to repeat, the only thing Anyway, my 2nd and 3rd were 18 months apart. I had worried about the spacing, since I loved the 3 yrs b/t my first two, but after the baby arrived, I loved the closer spacing too. It may have been even easier since he was #3? The pregnancy w/ the baby was harder since I was looking after the other two. That said, I am waiting a bit longer to try for the next, b/c my body just isn't ready. There are pros and cons for close and far spacings. Good luck!

Hi I'm Kara,
I have two little girls ages 5 and 3. When we tried for our #2 we didn't expect it to take 1 month only to conceive her So kids #1 and #2 are 2 years 1 month apart. I didn't find it too overwhelming taking care of 2 kids at their ages. We are going to ttc #3 this August and actually even though we didn't intend for their to be this big of an age gap in between the youngest and our next baby it will be ok. Youngest will be in 4 year old Preschool and 5 year old starts Kindergarten this fall. So by time baby comes (hopefully) I'll have one in Kindergarten whole days and the other in Preschool half days. They will be able to be really helpful with the new baby or babies (we're hoping for twins Boys in particular. We've never had trouble conceiving despite my having PCOS (Clomid did the trick 2nd time and 1st baby was conceived on the pill) but we moved and switched jobs so that's why the big gap for us instead of going for #3 sooner. Good luck

Kara
