What would you do?

I have been having troubles with my chart this month. Please take a look and give your opinion, there is a link in my siggy. My thermometer was giving me the same reading for days so I had DH take his temp and sure enough it was the same as mine has been. I got a BBT because I was using a regular digital one and planned on getting one anyway. Well the first day I used the new one is when my temp rose, I tried the old one and got the same old 97.6 reading. Before this gets too long (

) my point is I am supposed to start progesterone on 7dpo when would you start taking it? Should I trust the chart or should I trust my other fertility signs? I called the doctor and have an appointment on Monday so that is not going to help (I have to go anyway though to get clomid for next cycle). I am not confident at all this cycle but would hate to lose another baby because I didn't think we conceived, you know? Anyway thank you so much for any insight!

Hi Tammy, that's a tough one!

It does sound as if the old therm was defective, so if you disregard those tems and lok at your cp observations, then maybe day 16?? Day 18 is late far you looking at your previous charts.

I think youve been prescribed Prog suppositories like I have and for the same reason..right?? If so then I wonder why day 7?? I have to take them day 2 after O (I think Marion takes her day 4 after O) Day 7 sounds a bit late in the day, as implantation can occur earlier, and you want the endometrial lining to be ready KWIM? (ask your doc about this on Monday..) So long as you think you've O'd, I would take them from now, can't do any harm. My specialist said the important thing was to take them once you have O'd, and not before, as it can delay O otherwise.

I know nothing about the progesterone, but I would most definatly think that you o'ed on cd 14. take it cause today would be 7dpo if I'm right. good luck

Fiona- I did ask him about that. He said that it seems my lining is fine and that the progesterone drops at about 10dpo so it's better to start it later because it is messy and a pain. I hope that is still okay. All of this stuff is so confusing.

didn't mean to confuse you all the more!!
If it's just the inconvenience of the mess then in that case I just wouldn't worry about taking it too early, just so long as you've O'd.
btw, I'm on my 3rd day, and not finding it too bad at all.

I hate the suppositorries! I took them on the cycle before my last one. I got unbelieveably tired in the afternoon and I hated the discharge. If it wasn't needed I wouldn't do it!
Jonita- they are vagina suppositories, fun wow! They are taken after ovulation until you test negative or until 12 weeks of pregnancy. It's for those of us that have bodies that don't make enough on their own to support a pregnancy.
