I was at
http://www.peeonastick.com last night and saw this warning for Confirm Clearly HPTs:
1. False positives on Confirm Clearly digital test: some confirmed incidents ongoing issue; current as of September 2006
I have yet to get my hands on this test; I have not found any locally. (And believe me, I keep looking. I was in the Family Planning aisle at Target three days postpartum . . .) However, I am getting a lot of e-mail about this test, and the consensus seems to be: saying this test is "unreliable" is putting it nicely. I've had over 20 different e-mail complaints in the past few weeks; many of those women had negative blood test results the same day, or failed to menstruate and still had negative blood tests. And at least two men, one kitchen sink, and a neutered dog are pregnant, if you believe Confirm Clearly.
I'd have to put this one on the "tests to avoid" list, given the current buzz . . .

I bought this test because its refillable, hoping it would cost me less $$, I'm pretty sure this is why I got my false positive.
