False Labor - Thursday, January 03, 2008
I have 4 sleeps left until princess comes! I thought today was the day, I had been having contrax every 5-7 mins since 4am and by 9am I was at the L&D. I am now a 1/2 cm dilated and I was contracting very hard! They kept me on the monitors for a few hours. I got sent home since I didn't change and only in my 37th week, but they were talking that if my ctrx stayed strong (and I started to change more) I would have delivered today. I go back on the 8th officially unless my water breaks before then! BUT I am so excited I am soooo close now!






Don't ever give up TTC#2...this one took us 6 yrs and having 4 m/c's. I always lurk to cheer you ladies on!

Natalie Paige arrived on Jan. 8th at 8:51am via c-section weighing at 6 lbs even and 18 1/2 inches long. She has a headful of brownish/blonde hair and blue-gray eyes. She is very quiet and got to nurse while I was in recovery, which was awesome! Amy was so excited to meet her that when she held her sis for the first time she wouldn't let anyone else hold her for almost 1 hour. She is already helping when she said she wouldn't. She helped change a yucky diaper by handing daddy the little gauze wipes.
I am trying to attach photos, so I hope the come thru. I should be able to go home Friday as far as I know. I have already been up walking to the restroom 2 times, but it will be a while before I am zooming around like my old self.

I will update later when I am feeling better.

I will update after my OB appt in the morning. SO far everything is healing, meaning the antibiotic is working like it should. The sores the infection caused will take more time to heal, but overall no more new ones I can see (thank goodness!). I have a skin infection they think may be MRSA or cellulitis, my nether regions were swollen and fluid filled too. My incision was draining and bleeding still, I needed to be checked out (went my my family dr and my OB's nurse at the beginning of the week).

I better go rest, I have been so busy with dr's appts and then the dentist today. BUT the best news......I am down a total of 12 lbs! I only gained 8 with Natalie, so I have lost 4 more! WOHOO!!!!!!

congrats on the baby (adorable!) and your weight loss. i hope the infection clears up quickly. msra is nothing to mess around with.

It is staph not MRSA. So the Keflex should clear it up. I am feeling better so it must be working.
I am back to waring my pre-preggy jeans and normal tops (even borrowed DH's shirt the other day and it is big on me now, it used to be just perfect and I have tummy room to spare!!!)! I am down a total of 12 lbs so far! The nursing and pumping is already paying off!
I am so ready to have a girls night and wow my guy friends!
I am starting to feel like a normal person again and ready to get back to my normal cleaning/"wifey" duties.
