Okay so I have a few questions and I was hoping you all could help me out. Yesterday I used the OPK for the first time because I wanted to make sure my temps matched up and that I was using FF right. Well yesterday the test line was kinda faded so I knew I wasn't at my peak LH surge. Well I took the OPK today and the test line was just as dark as the reference line! Also, my temp was lower today then it has been all month. Well my first question is do you always have EWCM around ovulation? Because I haven't had any CM at all lately so I didn't think O was near. Is that a big deal or not? Also, my husband and I have been BD'ing for the past three days in a row bc I didn't think I was gonna O until next week. So it was just good 'ol lovemaking without babymaking in mind. But I have heard you are only supposed to BD every other day when you are ttc or it affects the sperm count somehow. If this is true, should we still BD today or wait another day? If we wait, will we totally miss O??!! I have no idea. I'm just starting out with this whole TTC thing bc when I was wanting my first child, I had gone out and bought an OPK and the first time I used it it was positive but I was already pregnant at that time (I had a doc appt the next day for a checkup and found out) So any help would be much appreciated.

It sounds to me, like you are o'ing today (temp and opk say so). The advice to bd every other day is only if you know your DH has a low sperm count. Giving it 48 hours insures adequate time to build his soldiers up. However, if you don't know of a low count, it doesn't hurt to bd daily--especially if you know you are o'ing. And since you bd'ed the 3 days preceeding o, you have lots of soldiers just waiting for your egg!! Good luck!!

Yep, I'd say you have your bases covered if you've BD'd these past few days leading up to O!! . . and I think you're fine to keep on BD'ing
