Icon9 newbie here

Hey everybody! I have just registered at this site. I have been holding in the frustration of trying to conceive my 2nd child for 2 years and I needed to vent. We have a beautiful daughter that is 5 years old and we had no problem getting pregnant that time. I am so frustrated that it is so difficult this time around. I am starting my 2nd round of clomid today. The second I got in the DR office today (for sonogram) and saw all the baby magazines and baby pictures I could not hold back the tears once I got in the sonogram room. They found 3 tiny, tiny cysts but he still okayed me for a 2nd round of clomid. Finally, after 5 months of begging my husband is going to get a sperm analysis done. I have not been talking with anyone about this stress this whole time except occassionally my husband but not much since he is equally frustrated. I really hope this 2nd round works. If it doesn't I think it will be on to the IUI's. I'm just not sure what to expect with those - timing, cost, success. It is just so frustrating that after it being so easy the first time that this is happening. Well, thanks for listening. Any advice, info.

Hey, welcome to SK.

I had secondary infertility as well.

Have you had any testing done on yourself yet? My problem was blocked tubes, and of course I had no idea, so it was a long 3 years of trying before I knew this. If you havent already I would suggest that you have a HSG(hysterosalpingogram) done on yourself too. It could save alot of wondering. I am not sure if you have had any testing or not, but it is a good place to start.

Good Luck to you

I hope you become pregnant really soon

I had an HSG 2 months ago and everything was fine. We should be getting the results from my husbands SA anytime now. I have been taking 100 dose cycle of clomid since Monday. We are going to try the every other day thing again starting tonight. I am trying to think so positive about this. It just really wears me down sometimes as I'm sure you all understand.

Sugarmag_
My name is Haras. I am a single mother of a beautiful baby girl how is three years old. I have endo and I was informed that if I ever wanted more children now is the time, otherwise they wanted to give me a hysterectomy. So now I am TTC # 2. This is my 2nd round of Femara. This round I took 20mg on day three. For my day 9, I was told that basically I had only one follilce (I actually had five, three on the right two on the left, one being bigger then the others, that I will "O" before the other catch up in size, so I end up with only one) my RE and I decided to wait to inseminate until next CY. I am currently undergoing IUI. Thought seriously thinkibg about IVF.
Sorry, I guess I needed to vent about this feeling of hopefullness.
