Oh Lots of luck with the wedding, sounds amazing! I am getting married in December! If you want to get prego right after you get married I would recommend using OPKs after you get off the pill to know when you ovulate and to get a better idea of when to baby dance. Here is how it happened for me with my first child: We didn't try to conceive until a month after I stopped taking BC pills. And then I got PG 2 cycles later. (My doctor recommended I stop the pill a month before TTC'ing - but I personally don't think that is mandatory. It does help you to understand your natural cycle better though.)

So I would suggest that maybe you stop taking your birth control pills a month before you hope to conceive (so in August). Use condoms for birth control that month. And then hopefully, you'll get pg in September. Or you could get off BC pills sooner and start tracking your fertility, so that when Sept. comes, you'll have a good idea of when you'll be most fertile. Some brides like skip their period completely though if it might happen around their wedding or honeymoon. If that is the case, then you might not want to stop the pills until after the wedding.

Personally, I wouldn't rush it. Focus on your upcomming wedding first and then getting pg. You just can't predict when you're going to get pregnant.

Marley...okay, so first things first. I have a DD and her name is Marlee. She is 22 months. I just loved that name!!! =) Second, my sister and her husband are police officers. Just a few things in common. Only difference is...I'm OLD! =) HA...much older than you anyway at a whopping 37 TTC #2. Anyway, I went off the pill in Feb of 07 and have been TTC since then. BUT... due to my age, it could be the reason although docs say I am looking really good. I'd say to go ahead and get off the pill now so your body can start ovulating before you get married (by the way...>CONGRATS). Use another form of BC if you can (and I wouldn't recommend the withdrawal method as that is how I got preggo with DD). Then in Sept. you will hopefully be ready and it will be nice and easy for you!
