Icon5 Help!!!!

My friend who has a 20 mth old son is 18 days past her period. She normally has it every 28 days and very heavy. She has taken several home pregnancy tests. One of which came out positive with a very faint line. Two blood bhcg tests the first one was < 1.0 and the second 1 the dr said till it said 5 that it was negative. She has all the symptoms like she did with her son of being pregnant. Has anyone been through anything like this and if so how long did it take to get a positive pregnancy test? She is worried that something could be wrong and her dr isnt doing anything except to keep telling her to wait and see if she is just late. Thanks for your time.

Default Re: Help!!!!

I haven't been through this situation but the only thing I can say is to have her test again and maybe tell her to go to a different doctor that she trusts. Has your friend done anything that might have interfered with her period like birth control pills, excessive exercise, weight loss?? I hope it turns out for the best for her and keep us updated please.
