Hi there,
In response to your question (and believe me I've done a whole crazy lot of reading on the subject!) no, it is not harder to get pg after a m/c. In fact many say it is easier.
I am sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is. Please remember though that m/c is a very common experience, and having had one or even 2 m/c's does not mean that you are more likely to experience that again. Loads of luck and baby dust to you. Hope you are getting your bfp really soon

Sorry for your loss.

In my experience, it was easier. I had two very early m/cs right in a row. One was 4.5 weeks and the other 5 (both "chemical pgs) My OB saw no reason for me to wait to TTC after each m/c. I got pg three times in three consecutive cycles and the third time was the charm as you can see by my baby girl in my siggy pic.

I could have posted this also. I too have been wondering b/c my DH & I have not struggled to get PG so far. We did right away with my first son (now 3) & again in December (ended in M/C in Jan.). We are trying again this month...I will test on March 11....and I have been wondering the same thing - will it be more difficult now. So, I'm so excited to read these posts & even more anxious to test on the 11th.

I would have to agree with everyone here. I miscarried in Feb. 2005 and did a lot of reading as a result. I realized that despite not being talked about much, M/C is VERY common. After blaming myself, I also realized that there was absolutely nothing that I could do to stop the bleeding. Since I have trouble with ovulation, I realized what a blessing it was to get pregnant in the first place...then when I read that M/C does not decrease your chances of a successful pregnancy, I began to relax. I need to learn from my first time around that relaxing (yep...like that is super easy!) is the key to a happy body....so here is hoping that this month will produce positive results for everyone....and besides, our babies need playmates!
