Dh and I decided we are going to ttc#2 now! AF is here and we are on cycle #1! Now it took me 6 years to conceive my son but I am hoping that is not the case this time. I can always hope for a miracle right?

heather ~ i'm a recent grad, and i really had no business here in the first place since i already have two, but i wanted to tell you, you've joined a great bunch of gals. the support i've gotten here has been incredible. of course i hope your stay here is short, but while you're here, enjoy these girls. they're absolutley wonderful. *sniff*

Thanks guys! I really hope I get lucky (I'm not lucky in anything else it seems!).

Jonita - My dh has a low sperm count which is why it took us 6 years to conceive. He was in denial of a problem for 2 years then after we discovered it was truly a low sperm count we took a year off (of really trying still didn't use protection) before we got serious about go to the RE. I have a feeling we'll be going back to the RE this time but we aren't going to wait as long.

Staci - Congrats on your pg! That's awesome. This seems like a very supportive great bunch of gals! I hope you stick around too so I can get to know you.

Welcome to the board! I hope it doesn't take nearly as long this time to TTC! What kind of treatment is there for low sperm count? My friend's husband has a low count. I'm just curious to see what they can do when/if they TTC.

We are glad to have you. This board is a great support system. And I too hope it doesnt take you as long. Im also curious as to what they do for low sperm count. My DH is gettin ready to have his checked b.c he is a post cancer patient.

There is really nothing they can do for low sperm count. What we did was an IUI. They took his sperm and "washed" it and that took away all the bad sperm so in the end we had like 9 million sperm (normal is over 50 mill) each time I did the IUI. They insert in his sperm directly in me right after I o'ed. The only other thing that can be done is IVF and/or IVF with ICSI both of which are very expensive. We got lucky!!!
