My name is Danielle and I am the new host of this board. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I have a 16 month old son Austin. He was not a preemie, but since I am the host of this board I am looking forward to getting some interesting conversations started here, so preemie moms stop on by and say hello and introduce yourself.

Hi! I have been posting here for 3 years. My son was born at 26 weeks. He is now 3 years old and doing great. He is catching up quickly except in size. He is a tiny guy - 27 lbs and 33.5 inches.
I also have 18 month old twin girls born at 35 weeks.
Hi Danielle. Iam sure you know me. Isaiah is doing varry well and is trying to walk now his due date was march 30 but he wanted to say high a little early and was brone janury 25th.Happy mothers day everyone.
Great to see you guys. Wow Donna your kids are getting so big.I have been here for almost 2.5 years.Deana is great she has cerebal pasly and is delayed physically only but we are getting there at the moment she can sit up and creep around. She is so amazing!

I have intro'd here before but Im Rachel - i have 30 weeker twins. They will be 6 months old on Tuesday and are doing very well!! Pretty much right on target for their actual age! They are still on preemie formula but we hope to change after their checkup tuesday!
they do have a few preemie issues, both have reflux, gerd, and reactive airway disease and evie has sensory issues, tho she is greatly improving with age! but looking at them they look like regular ole fat babies
Hi My name is Hazel and my son Tailan was born at 28 weeks. I think the reason for him being born so early was because the placenta was seperating from him. So, I had to so under an emergency C-section. He was in the hospital for 10 weeks. While he was in there, I thought that with him having Apnia (falling into a deep sleep and not breathing), I thought that it was the worst thing ever. The nurses told me that he was one of the luckiest. I don't know about that. To me, every little child that was and is in that incibator is lucky because the have a big chance of surviving....especially with today's technology. Just thought I'd share that.
Btw, Tailan just celebrated his first birthday this month and is doing great.
