33 weeker and i had to leave him behind..
I had to leave my little guy in the NICU. It was by far the hardest thing i have ever done. I have two girls at home, but i want to spend all my days at the hospital. I'm on an emotional roller coaster.

Big hugs!
I had a 33 weeker too. It is so hard to leave your little one there, but he is in the best place he can be right now.
Soon he will be home with you!

I just had a 33 weeker on August 5th (and a 32 weeker 3 years ago tomorrow) It's really hard, but he will be home before you know it.

Re: 33 weeker and i had to leave him behind..
I had a 28 weeker in Dec of last year, and he was in the NICU for 8 weeks. I was actually back at work before he came home. He was 3 pounds and now is 9 months old, and weighs 18 pounds. I have two older kids @ home, so I understand. I will pray your little sweetie! I hope Brayden gets to home real soon!

Mom to a 32 weeker here, but look at him now Hardest part is being away, but it is the best place and he is in wonderful hands.
Hang in there, vent away, we have all been through it and remember it like it was yesterday.

Re: 33 weeker and i had to leave him behind..
I had a IUGR baby with diastolic cord issues...1lb 9ozs at 28 weeks. She just hit the 21lb mark and will be 3 in January. 88 days in the NICU....not fun but totally worth it. Time is what your little guy needs to get strong and come home!!!
