Default Room Temp Formula Feed and Blocked Nipple..HELP

I'm trying to feed my DD non-warmed bottles as it is easier all around (ie, going out and about and not have to worry about warming up the bottles). However, the last couple days it seems the formula is clumping in the nipple and dd is having a hard time drinking. I'm having to keep removing the bottle and shake to release it from the nipple.

I currently fill the bottles with water and add the formula and shake, shake, shake. Anyone have any tips??

With both my ds I made big batches in a measuring pyrex and then filled the bottles and placed in the refrig...and then warmed as needed---and never had this problem. But I am trying to avoid the warm up step and dd doesn't seem to mind not having warmed formula.

TIA!

I don't warm mine. Mix it with a table spoon. thats what I do. But I think even if you warm it up it wil clump just not as bad.

I put a little bit of formula in the bottom, add a little water, swish it around then do that until I have the right amount...but that all changes if I have a screaming baby because he is hungry. Haha. If not, I just shake shake shake as best as I can. The spoon works well, but I got sick of using almost all of them from the drawer and having to wash all of them in the same day. Sorry I wasn't much help

DH adds the formula in slowly, shaking while adding and doesn't get lumps. I dump it all in and seem to do okay, not getting lumps. I've never tried the spoon though.

I just measure out the water and add the formula and then shake as hard as I can. It might just be that the kind fo formula have needs to be shaken more/harder than others.

I just add the formula and shake, but I shake it upside down. I dont heat the bottles sometimes either and she doesnt mind. She just doesnt like them ice cold either.
