Default Formula Reviews

What kind of formula do you use and why? If you have switched from one to another, tell us why? Thank you for your review.

We use Similac Advance with Iron. It's what we started supplementing with at the hospital when my son was born. I like it because he likes it; and we've never had a reason to switch.

I put other b/c we have 2 kinds here now. We have Enfamil Nutramigen Lipil and Similac Alimentum Advance, both are RTF. We only supplement thank goodness b/c this is expensive! Oh, we use this b/c my other son is an MSPI baby so we're trying to avoid that in Evan.

I voted "other" but meant to vote for Nestle Good Start. Alec was on the Good Start Supreme 2 with DHA/ARA, but it got too expensive. With a heavy heart, I switched him to the "Good Start 2 Essentials" which is their bottom of the line formula. The most amazing thing happened when I finished the gradual switch and he was fully on the Essentials formula- he no longer spits up!!!! He was so bad at spitting up that we had to add rice cereal to his bottle- per ped's suggestion- and that only helped reduce the spit up. Now, here he is on their lower end formula and doing great . Completely spit up free! I'm not recommending it for other babies who spit up or anything. I'm just so excited that it worked out this way for him!

I use Nestle Good Start because that's what my pediatrician suggested.

I had voted for GoodStart. I had tried Similac,Enfamil and my son had bad reactions with those formulas. He is now on Good Start Supreme with DHA & ARA and has been doing well ever since. I also BF my little one.
