Is Baby Getting Enough?
It's important to look for clues from your baby signaling that he's had enough--drowsiness, a relaxed expression, turning away from food. Keep in mind, on any given day, the amount your child drinks may vary greatly.

One good indicator that your baby is getting enough is in the amount he's putting out. He should produce six to eight wet diapers each day and at least one bowel movement for almost every feeding.
