Re: What is your Favorite and Not So Savorite Things About EBF?
faves:
~still so easy to calm her down if she gets a "ouchie"
~ she is rarely ill
~ knowing that the longer i nurse the more likely i am to beat the oddds stacked against me with my family's history of cancer.
least faves
~when she nurses to sleep at night, sometimes my nipple starts to come out of her mouth, and she reflxiviely chomps down- YEOUCH!!!
~ i am sure there is another, but that is the only one that is coming to mind.

Faves-- The different ways she has of asking for nursie.
When she gets all excited about nursing and starts giggling.
Least Faves-- That she thinks she has to nurse most of the time we are in the van.
When she wants to nurse while I'm trying to eat something.

Faves...
Night nursings and nursing in public (ie, not having to pack a bunch of crap)
Not-so-faves...
Nursing in the CAR. It gets old. And painful. I NEED A CHIROPRACTOR!

Fav~ bonding with my dd
not fav~ breast infections...I got 3-4 of them while nursing my dd.
I nursed her for about 3 to 3.5 years. Now I am pg with twins...I wonder how long I will nurse them.

Re: What is your Favorite and Not So Savorite Things About EBF?
Favorites:
*The cuddliness and pure contentment of my usually very busy girl when she's enjoying mommy's goodness. Nothing else works like magic...
*The health benefits for both of us!
Not so favorite:
*When we're out in public (I NIP for awhile, but don't much now) and she throws fits wanting to nurse...and nothing else will do!
*Worrying about the well-being of my new bean (in the oven) due to probable high prolactin levels. I've never been able to conceive while nursing before. It's amazing and scary all in one for me!

least fave's: he started biting me now that my supply is nearly gone. makes me not want to nurse but he screams and cries when he wants to nurse.

Re: What is your Favorite and Not So Savorite Things About EBF?
Faves:
The closeness, the way only mommy will do when he needs the comfort
How extremely healthy my little guy is!
Less than favorite...
His need to fondle my other nipple, especially when his nails need clipped
Biting... ugh
Sore body aches from sleeping with my arms up over my head all night
Being followed all across the bed (being chased for my boobies) as he tries to nurse all night long

Faves: The closeness, being able to put her to sleep, how she loves it!
Least Faves: Hiding it from my MIL

Re: What is your Favorite and Not So Savorite Things About EBF?
Reevaulation at 19 months, and pregnant
Loves: the total peace and quiet for 20 minutes, and that look he gives me now that I finally have colostrum
Dislikes: Not being able to use it as a comforting tool when in public as much, the pain from some mild thrush and pregnancy
