For the little ones who can talk, what do they call it?
Baby ds calls it a "snack". If I'm doing something and can't nurse him right then, I saw not yet baby, and he asks for the "other side?" It's so, so adorable. And I like that we have it as "mama snacks".

Re: For the little ones who can talk, what do they call it?
Well, I say milky......but when Owen wants to nurse he will come up to me and pull on my shirt and say mmmmmmmomma.....which is different than we says moma!!! When he is saying moma it's just a short mm sound. But when he wants milky, he makes it real drawn out mmmmmmmm moma!!! It's pretty cute!
And he has also started pointing to the glider chair that we sit in to nurse. He has figured out that we sit in the glider EVERY time he nurses. So now he points there when he's ready.....hee hee hee (smart kid)

ds first called it "nee-nee" but it became "nurse peas" (nurse please) then it turned into nurse please.

Xander calls it nurse. When he is forceful about it and wants it now I tell him he needs to ask and he will say "ask, nurse, please".

Garrett says "nee-nee", also. He'll say "side" when he wants to switch sides. My 5 yr old dd called it "night-night nu-nu" when she was nursing.

Brynna calls it "o'er side" for other side. I kinda like it, since it is generally fairly discreet, well, as discreet as a toddler can be while pulling on their momma's shirt and leaning over to get in the appropriate position.
