My Elias is almost 11 mos old and exclusively breastfed..doesn't really eat solids..only once in a while so he gets all his nutrients from me. There is no sign of stopping. I still nurse him every 1-2 hours round the clock (no sleep dammit..lol) but he's a chunk and very happy so that's ok with me. Just wanted to start looking in here because this is the first child I will be nursing past a year. I'm nervous but also excited. I'm also getting a bit worried about the solids thing. He doesn't care for them, spits everything out. His ped is not concerned because he is gaining weight fine, actually he's too chubby for his height. Well ladies I think we'll be joining you for sure! Still no solids and just breastmilk..he's now over 11 mos and only gets his nutrition from me. I'm so excited because he's the only one of my 4 kids that will be nursing past a year. I will not make any attempts at weaning him and will let him nurse until he wants to. I'm so happy and excited . Since this is a first for me I can't wait to get lots of advice from other extended breastfeeders
