Icon9 Help convince me to stop...

...pumping! (I posted this on the Lactivist Lounge, too) I'm a SAHM. Callie is 14 months old and typically nurses about 4-5 times in a 24 hour period--first thing in am, before both naps, before bed, and once in the middle of the night. She has had a few mornings where she gets up late (7 or 7:30) and has no interest in nursing then. I don't know if this will become a regular thing or not. Also, when she wakes up late, she doesn't necessarily take two naps and nurse twice. So, I think there are going to be some days with much less nursing than I'm used to.

Anyway, I am in such a habit of pumping before I go to bed that I can't convince myself to stop. Heck, I can only pump about 1.5 ounces, and I end up putting 2 pumping sessions into one freezer bag. I think I have maybe a dozen bags of about 3-4 ounces each in the freezer right now. Then I use the oldest frozen milk to mix with her cereal (Earth's Best dry cereal) in the morning. Should I start using whole cow's milk with the cereal to see if she'll eat it? I guess I'm worried that she won't eat cereal if it isn't mixed with BM. I've tried using water and adding yogurt, and that's only successful half the time. Geez, old habits die hard, don't they??
