Even though it is clearly stated in the
board guidelines we thought we should cover it here too, just incase some of you have not had an opportunity to review them.
Number one states:
What you cannot post: Advertisements, chain letters, virus warnings, flames, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this board. NO ADVERTISEMENTS OR SOLICITATIONS MAY BE POSTED ON OUR SITES without prior written approval. Further, chain letters, virus warnings, flames, pyramid schemes, and messages out of context, the purpose of which is solely to generate traffic to another site, may not be posted. We will charge $50 per advertisement posted on the boards without prior written permission. (Your message will also be deleted.) The full amount paid to us for such spamming will be donated to a charity of our choice.
Advertising for another board whether via a post on the boards with the name and or board links/url included or in a PM is considered SPAM, and we have the legal right to begin charging $50 per advertisement of this nature. Instead of charging for it, we have been handling it in another way.
Any member who specifically POSTS on a board negatively and trying to draw people away, we are banning. We do not have to warn, as the rules are stated clearly. Anyone that PM's members we are removing PM boxes.
We CAN NOT access and read members PM boxes without changing your password and logging in as you. Since we do not know your original password we wouldn't be able to change it back and you would clearly know. Former admin that is accusing us of this know that we can not access the PM boxes unless they have since found out a way. No one here knows how or has tried to figure it out.
So how do we find out that someone is spamming through the PM boxes? We find out when a member that has been spammed tells us because they are insulted and upset about being spammed. That is the only way.
Sorry ladies, we are a G-Rated site and really prefer not to have spam on our boards regarding another board that chooses to have blinkies of women with big, bouncing bb's and the words "family" and "biotch" together. We do not believe that these words belong together. If they do, that is great for them. We have nothing against them or their site, we just prefer our members not have to look at it if they choose not too.
The owners of SK have NEVER had a problem with a board or members deciding it was time to leave our site. We support such moves as it is more important that members are happy and comfortable where ever they are posting. This includes doing everything we can to make members who choose to post on our boards, happy and comfortable here.
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to send us an email.
Thanks!
